Jennie

As classes finished for the day, I immediately went to my car as Jisoo had skipped last period for an emergency at home, which means I have no reason to stay longer in school.

Before I could step further outside the gust of the wind had blown hard towards my way, winter had not yet started but the weather sure is cold already. I enclosed myself with my hoodie placing both hands in the hoodie's pockets, I jogged towards the parking lot keeping my gaze on the grown to avoid the dust in coming through my eyes.

However, before I could could reach my car, I noticed a silhouette of someone standing close to my vehicle. Lifting my gaze up to see who it was, I was surprised that it was Lisa Manoban dressed in a blue sweatshirt paired with her black tight pants. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I go to school here remember." She answered, gaze void from any emotion.

"I know that. What I meant was, why are you standing close to my car?"

"I was tasked by your dear father to pick you up. He wanted an assurance that you immediately got home after school. Something about an another announcement that he had to make."

"He could have just message me. I am not a child anymore that needs to be fetched." I mumbled lowly avoiding Lisa from hearing my words but I was unlucky to do so. "You could complain to him when we arrive. I am just following orders. As to you said before, I do not wwnt to be on your father's bad side though I doubt to belong on his good side." She chuckled in response.

I raised my eyebrow at her. "As far as I know you rarely follow orders especially if it came from my father. But I am glad you considered my words from before." I countered. "I had to. I do not have a choice or else he would not stop pestering me. Now can you stop complaining and get inside?" Without answering her, I opened the driver seat but before i could close the door Lisa held it. I looked at her confused as to why she was preventing me from closing the door. "I thought you are in a hurry? Why are you stopping me?"

"I am but I am driving." I looked at her pointedly testing her words as if it was true. "This is my car if you must know." But she held her ground. Knowing that if I would not give in she would be stubborn to give way as well, I sighed and move towards the passenger seat.

The drive home was quick. Faster than what I have expected it to be, Lisa drives like a pro race car driver and avoids almost any car in front of us while I clung to the roof handle, afraid of how fast the car was running. I even closed my eyes.

It was then when I felt the car was placed to a sudden halt that I felt my heartbeat once again. "Eyes up princess." I heard her say. I looked at her way, more of glaring madly at her. "You could have killed me!" I accused. My voice raising than of my usual tone. "You will leave. Do not be such a drama queen besides I would put my life in danger." With one glance her way, I huffed opening the car door and slamming it to a close. I walked swiftly wanting to calm myself down in my chambers but then I heard her called me yet again. "Hey princess!"

I halted before turning at her. "What more do you want?" I asked.

"You forgot your keys." She stated as she showed the dangling keys in her hand before tossing it towards my way. I immediately caught it. After which, I continued on my path towards my chambers but was halted by the voice of my father. "Jennie."

"I'll just freshen up dad." I said knowing it was the only excuse that he would allow. He nodded and left me to do what I have planned before he had interrupted.
