Yoongi's point of view:
I stared at the open first aid kit not knowing where to start. Frustrated, I run a hand through my hair, trying to calm myself, trying to stop my hand from shaking too much looking at her in this condition. The blood was crusted around the cuts and the bruises had started turning to a nasty shade of purple. I tug at my hair one last time before I decide to start working from her face, seeing as most of it was protected except for the small cuts littered on her cheekbones and forehead. The urge of calling an ambulance increasing but I know that I would then have to explain how she got in this state in the first place.
I dab some antiseptic on the cuts on her face and close them off with the bandages. Asking a maid nearby for some vinegar, I apply some to the blackish blue finger prints around her neck to reduce the bruising. I take some vinegar on a cotton ball and carefully lift up her blood soaked top to apply it to her ribs and stomach where the injuries are superficial, ignoring the glasses in her skin. I gently start pulling out the glass pieces, being careful not to draw out too much blood. She has already lost too much blood, I cannot afford to make her loose more.
Making sure I clean the cuts and wounds before sealing them, I apply the disinfectant to them, switching the cotton soaked with blood every few minutes. After closing all of the wounds, I wipe her skin clearing any more sand or salt sticking to her skin. I clean the dried blood from the back of her arms with a cloth, not touching the bandages that I've just wrapped.
After finishing up with treating her legs, I call an ambulance for a blood bag, asking a maid to clean up the blood trail that I failed to notice when I came in the room. On arriving, the paramedics asked me the question I feared most. I cover up by lying, saying that she just got out from the hospital after an accident and tripped on the carpet causing her wounds to reopen, knowing that Erica would not have wanted to share her problems about her situation with strangers, wanting to solve her problems by herself. After checking her vitals and attaching the blood drip to her right hand, the paramedics informed me that she will wake up after a few hours and left.
It was nine and instead of going back home, I decided to stay here to take care of Jimin and Erica. After sending Jungkook back to his home, we went to the dining table to have our dinner. I asked Jimin about his father and Sung Jae to which he replied by saying that his father would come home late and that Sung Jae usually does not come home. I nodded letting him know that I heard him. I knew Jimin was hiding something from me, seeing as he did not meet my gaze the entire time we were alone but I let it slide for the time being. After finishing with the dinner, I stood up and instead of picking up my plate and going to the kitchen to place it in the sink, I squatted down in front of Jimin.
"Jimin, I'm not going to scold you but you have to let it all out, whatever you're holding back. You have to tell me what is wrong. You have to tell me what's got you all worked up and guilty" I told him with a sigh, holding his hand to let him know that I would not get angry at him.
"How is she now?" Jimin asks, tears brimming in his eyes.
"She is doing well. The paramedics said she will wake up in a few hours" I respond to his query.
"It's all my fault. I should not have been so rude to her. I got mad at her when I found out about you going out with her. I said some really mean things. I even ignored her today morning. I'm sorry, I just could not help b-but feel hurt at not being told about it. She has gone through so much because of me, I just wanted her to be happy. I didn't mean for her to get hurt. I was so selfish. I'm so sorry, hyung" Jimin confessed, looking down, tears streaming freely down his face no matter how much he tried to stop them. I stood up and put my arms around him gently, letting him cry in my stomach, my arms rub his back softly, trying to calm him, looking straight ahead, feeling guilty myself.
"Taehyung took me to the arcade to lift up my mood, I lost track of time. I reached home really late, missing my management classes. Dad always punishes her for all of my mistakes. I'm sorry. I messed up. She doesn't even want to see me. Take care of her for me, please?" Jimin continues, sobbing in my shirt. I rub my hands on his back.
"She did not want you to see her that weak and beaten because she knew it would hurt you. She still loves you, Jimin. And you don't have to worry about your sister going out with me. I'll make sure she is safe. I'll protect her" I assure Jimin and manage to get him to his room to get some rest.
I make my way to Erica's room to check up on her. Seeing her fast asleep, I go to the guest room Jimin managed to get the maids to clean up. I took the pair of Jimin's spare clothes lying on the bed and change into them for the night. I make my way back to Erica's room, dragging a chair to the left side of her bed. Dropping myself on it, I take up her delicate, bruised hand into mine. A whispered 'why' escaping my lips before I succumb to the tiredness as the day's events catch up to me.
