Erica's point of view:
The silhouette turned sensing my presence and Yoongi's face was lit up by the light shining from the advertisement board on the building next to the one we were standing on. He strode towards me with an infecting calmness, took my hand into his and led me back to the railings, none of us uttering a single word. I gasped at the sight in front of me. The building we stood on was not as tall as the others around it but the houses on one side of it were smaller in height than this one. The lights decorating the busy streets of the city created paintings. The vehicles zooming past the building looked like strobe lights in the dark and the people walking on the side walk looked like ants from the distance.
"So...is the apology accepted now?"
"Maybe" I managed to murmur, still in awe of the view.
"Maybe, huh? I know this is not the best view of our city but I felt like you would like going to a secluded place rather than a crowded one"
"You thought correct" I say as I turn to him, smiling. He returns the smile, letting the silence linger a bit longer before speaking up again.
"Our beautiful haven. Our sweet haven" his arms wrapped themselves around my waist as I lean back into him, going back to looking in front of me, my hands in the warmth of the pockets of the jacket I'm wearing. I saw as a white flake fell through the sky like an abandoned feather, drifting along with the slight wind before finally settling down on the railing. I turn to Yoongi only to see that he too was staring at the same flake.
"The first snowfall this winter...."
"This would be our first snowfall together, first of many more to come"
"Mhmmm" I say, clearing out the silence "that's true"
"I really want to be with you forever. I don't think I'll ever be able to let go of you" he spoke, making me turn around.
"I won't let you go either. I know it's hard but we'll work it out together, right?" I ask, cupping his cold cheeks into my palm, watching as a snowflake lands on the tip of his nose before melting away. He shivers at that, causing me to giggle and turn back to look at the mesmerizing scene below me again, not able to satisfy the hunger to keep on watching it, the snow now starting to fall faster, slowly covering the streets in a thin sheet of white. Yoongi cups my cheek this time, his eyes blazing with an intensity I've seen before.
"You look so pretty all the time. I wanted to go at your pace but I can't seem to control myself around you. My heart flutters every time I see you and I can't seem to resist those lips but I don't think you would be ready to take that step"
"Would a peck work for now?" and I don't waste any more time. My lips on his, fitting perfectly. We were lost in that moment, forgetting everything but us. It was a brief moment but it seemed like we spent an eternity standing there. A smile decorating his face as he trails his lips with his fingers.
"One step at a time?" I ask. He nods.
"Thank you" I voice out my gratitude.
"Don't. Remember, I'll help you find your home, your safe haven"
Taking the pinkie finger of my right hand and intertwining it with that of his left hand, I let them dangle in between us as we both continued to stand there, watching over the city under the falling snow, not wishing for the moment to end.
Yoongi takes my hands in his and gestures me to follow him when our eyes meet. Not wanting to question him, I silently tread behind him as we make our way down the stairs and into the hotel. Before he could enter, I speak up.
"Can we go back home and cosy up after eating ramen?"
"Sure" he said, smiling back at me and moving on to walk on the side way with me beside him, the snow crunching under our boots.
The night passes with me staying over at his house again and the both of us getting comfy under the blankets on his couch, cuddling each other to share our body heat, settling in for a movie. The next day I woke up to pans clattering around in the kitchen. Turning around, he was trying to throw away a burnt-to-the-core and stuck-to-the-pan pancake into the waste-bin when he froze seeing me peek my head over the edge of the couch facing the television. I laugh as I get over to him, helping him getting rid of the leftovers, taking the pan with me and starting to make a new one.
"Go sit at the table. I'll bring the breakfast" he smiles sheepishly at me before grabbing two glasses, filling them with juice and taking them over to the table with him. I pile the pancakes on our plates, sprinkling sugar on mine and take the plates to the table before excusing myself to go brush my teeth.
"What are you doing? Are they not good?" I ask once I come back, seeing as he has not even touched his plate.
"Waiting for you" he smiles cheekily before gesturing me to join him, digging into his plate as soon as I'm sat down "was starving"
"Then you shouldn't have waited" I respond as I dig in my food not before flicking him on the forehead.
"Oww!!"
"Wasn't that hard" I mumble under my breath, face stuffed with pancakes, hand reaching for the glass of juice.
"You look like a chipmunk" he giggled. I put on a blank face and stare at him, chewing my food.
"Try me" I challenge after finishing the mouthful.
"Oh you don't want me to" he got up from his seat and charged at me before I had time to react. He lunged at me and tackled me to the ground, careful enough to not let it hurt me with a playful grin lighting up his features. His hands found my sides, fingers wriggling provocatively as he hovered above me on his knees and elbows.
"No!!! S-stop" I manage to get out through my wheezes as he tickles me, trying to push him away but failing. His grin childlike and disarming. He only relents when he thinks I've had enough. He was about to get up from me but the door to his house bangs open, a very familiar voice shouting out for Yoongi.
"Hey, hyung - what?!" Hoseok's voice blasted through the house.
"I think we should just come in later. Sorry for interrupting" Namjoon.
"You weren't interrupting anything" Yoongi groaned, burying his face in his hands.
"Maybe they would believe that if you'd just get off me" I say, pushing him off of me, grunting because of the effort and standing up to greet the two.
"Morning" straightening my clothes.
"I'll get going. Thanks for the breakfast, Yoon. See you after my shift, yeah?" he just hummed standing up and dusting himself off, eyes glaring at Namjoon and Hoseok.
"Try not to kill them. They're still friends" I laugh as I make my way to his door. I disappear into the morning crowds before I can hear Yoongi respond to me.
