Erica's point of view:

I was just sitting at a bench right outside school after my boring lessons got over, waiting for Jimin and his friends to join me for the break, when I saw Yoongi approaching me. I ignored him for the past two weeks and now here we are. To avoid any personal conversations with him about that night, I asked him why he always wore black and he brushed off the question by one of his own.

"Will you come with me after school? I just wanted to spend some time with you, if you don't mind. I just...." He trailed off rubbing the back of his neck, the pointer and the middle fingers of one hand put in a small cross hoping for me to agree, clearly meant to be hidden from me, weight of his body shifting from one foot to the other. I agreed with a smile and soon Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and Ara arrived and joined us, ready to go to a nearby café. After school, I told Jimin to go home and that I will be a little late.

I went to the park and stood at the entrance looking for any signs of Yoongi since he told me he'd be waiting for me here. Soon enough I was greeted by him and we made our way inside the park. We chatted about our daily usual lives and school. He never once mentioned the incident at my house for which I am extremely grateful. After walking around the park we finally decided to part ways and head home, seeing as it was already late evening. Yoongi offered me to drop me but I rejected it for I cannot let father see Yoongi with me or he will harm him too and I can't risk that happening since it will hurt Jimin emotionally.

Yoongi's point of view:

I knew it would be a right decision to take her out for a short while to get to know her more. She is full of mysteries and I cannot help but delve in deeper to unwind them. She is beautiful, inside and out. I could see it clearly that she is way more caring about her brother and friends than she lets on. The thought of what had happened that night and the questions on how she ended up so wounded gnawing at my conscience waiting for answers but I know that it will only make her uncomfortable so I did not bring it up. After enjoying our time together with smiles plastered on both of our faces, doing nothing but walking and chatting about school, I agreed to let Erica go home alone, seeing as I had some work to deal with. While roaming around with her, I saw Sung Jae, an old acquaintance staring at us from a distance. We used to work together, trading off drugs for our bosses. We both had our debts to be paid and we became best friends, always having each other's backs. I had decided to leave as soon as my dead father's debt was paid, wanting to do nothing with the underground gangs but Sung Jae grew greedy over the time. I had to leave. He wanted to stay so we parted ways but not on a good note.

"Hey buddy. How's normal life going for you?" He greeted in a bittersweet tone when I approached him. Not being in a mood for idle conversations, I cut off his question with one of my own.

"Why are you here? Last time I checked our bosses were not dealing drugs in a park."

"Yeah...you're still the same. Why do you care though? Last time I checked you wanted an out."

"I'm not planning to join again anytime soon either but I saw you staring at us" I replied bitterly, the atmosphere around us becoming thicker with the tension lingering in the air.

"Stay away from Erica." Was the last thing I heard from him as he walked past me, bumping his shoulder as he walks by, leaving me confused on how someone like him could know someone as pure as her. I made my way back to my building all the while thinking about the reasons as to why she could possibly be knowing him, wondering if he was the one who caused her to be hurt. Little did I know that I was digging into bonds that would entangle both me and Erica deeper than I would have liked.

Erica's point of view:

As soon as I see father's car parked in the garage, I rush to Jimin's room to make sure that he is okay. I see him sitting on his bed shirtless with headphones on, nodding his head to the beats calmly from the crack of the slightly ajar door. Suddenly a voice that I clearly recognise as Sung Jae whispers in my ear.

"Sir would not harm him. He has no choice other than keeping him safe to continue his business. You don't have to worry so much about him."

Backing away from his presence, I ignored what he said, feeling mildly annoyed at his usage of the word 'sir' for father and made my way to my room when he uttered something that shook me to the core.

"Stay away from Jimin's friends."

"What? Who are you to tell me that? I will do whatever I wish to and you won't be stopping me" I could not control the annoyance at his clear attempt of controlling my decisions, gritting my teeth to control my anger.

"Oh so you won't mind me telling sir about your outing in the park today, correct?"

"Stay away from him, you reptile. He has done nothing to get involved with you or father" I left to my room after saying that, not caring about whatever rubbish Sung Jae has to add. I will not allow anyone to be sucked in this business. I will make sure mine and Jimin's friends are and remain safe. I completed my assignments for school and went to sleep, not caring about missing my dinner for a day instead wondering how Sung Jae knew about Yoongi and me going to the park but not before checking up on Jimin who was curled up on his bed cuddling with his favourite soft toy in his hands as usual.
