Yoongi's point of view:

I drifted through the crowd trying to find something that can help us decorate my house-the venue of the party. We decided to split up to make our search easier and quicker. Erica went to the grocery store to pick out the required ingredients to bake and decorate a cake. That was the plan, baking a cake in the kitchen. I went to the shop Erica first went into after I finished with my part of the shopping but there were no signs of her anywhere. It had not been more than half an hour in the market. She had to be here, but keeping that aside, I went to the adjoining shop in hopes of finding her there-no luck. That's when a person bumped into me, a complete black attire. A bit odd at this time, isn't it?

"Excuse me!" but that is when I felt the paper in my back pocket. A bit crumpled from the sides but there none the less.

'Come alone. You know where to find us, don't you?' scribbled into it, the handwriting unmistakeably familiar, sending a pang through my chest. The 'us' traced over and over. I flipped over the paper to see another piece of writing.

'The shed that was oh-so-dear to you, remember it? Just giving the address in case you really want her that bad. Come quick. She's missing you. Oh and come alone or it will be different pieces of hers returning with you – your best friend'

"No no no no" I fumble in my pockets for my phone, calling Jimin, asking him to come to my place as quick as possible. He does not question it.

My hands are shaking as I drive but I can't seem to care. Jimin had informed all the others and they were waiting for me to come back home. Seeing them, I couldn't help but break down as soon as I got close enough to them, my knees buckling. Namjoon punches in the password, opens the door all while I'm bawling my eyes out on Jin's shoulder, holding onto him for the support I need to stand. I feel the embarrassment seeping to my bones when Jin has to help me onto the couch, the guilt surfacing again when I look at Jimin.

"Hyung where is noona? You said she had gone out with you" he himself is leaning onto Taehyung for support.

"He got her. I'm so sorry I was not there for her. He's left this message and I know where she is so I'll go bring her back" I pass the piece of paper to Namjoon who just got me a glass of water as I calmed down.

"But if we know the place where he is keeping her, why don't we just inform the police about it?"

"The note, Jungkook. It says that if he informs the police, whoever has taken her will harm her"

"It's Sung Jae, isn't it, hyung?" Jimin asks looking straight at me. I nod, suddenly finding the floor too interesting, my hands fidgeting.

"Wait. Isn't he the guy you got arrested?"

"Yes Hoseok. He was one of his friends before that happened. Let's just focus on what we have in front of us right now, yeah?"

"It's fine Namjoon. I'm going and that's final"

"But hyung it is risky and we don't want to exchange one life for another. I told you before and I'm telling you again, both you and my sister matter equally to me. I can't risk losing any one of you" Jimin speaks up before Namjoon can.

"WE DON"T HAVE A CHOICE" I can see Jimin flinching at my tone. I will myself to calm myself down. Getting mad won't help, crying won't help either and sitting still on the couch doing nothing will definitely not help.

"Hyung we can make a plan. Involving the police seems like the best bet we can use" Taehyung's deep voice does little in calming me.

"That would need time and time is something we don't have in abundance" I speak, trying to grasp what is left of my sanity "I will get going right now. I'm giving you the address for the place, it's on the outskirts of the city along the highway. You can come there with the police but only after six hours. Please. I don't want anything to happen to her. I can't just sit here and do nothing" I stand up and head towards the door before any of them can protest against the decision.

I take a bus to the shed, texting Namjoon the address and sharing my location with him. I sit and pray throughout the ride, pray that Erica is okay, even though I've never been too religious. Time seems to fly as I get off the bus, now heading into the grassy field. I can see the old outhouse in view and I can also see the people surrounding me. I raise my hands above my head as they get close enough to me.

"I mean no harm and carry no weapons. I just want to see Sung Jae"

"Yeah, he wants to see you too but not so tidy" that was the last thing I manage to hear before I am pushed down from behind, landing on my knees. I can only groan in discomfort as they kick me from all sides, black threatening to cloud my eyes from the corner. I feel the rope being tied roughly, binding my arms above my head, a cotton rag shoved unceremoniously into my mouth. The chemical tasted weird on my tongue but it was too late before I registered it in my brain, through the pain I was subjugated to. But somewhere in my mind I knew this was only the beginning to the night. There was a lot more on its way before everything ended.

I woke up with a hazy gaze. I tried rubbing my eyes to see clearer but it was then that I realized that I was now tied to an upright cot, hands above my head. Yanking them down made me aware that it was a pair of handcuffs digging into my skin. My entire body was aching, the throbbing in my ear growing louder and I could barely stand properly. I could make out a faint outline of two people standing in front of me, the darkness of the cold evening not helping my vision.

"Oh 'friend', you don't look too well. Are you sure the 'normal life' suits you?"

Sung Jae.

He rips off the rag from my face, throwing it down in the dirt.

"Where is she? What did you do to her? Please let her out of this. You can do whatever you want to do with me" I manage to slur.

"Oh dear" the unknown voice makes me furrow my brows "you're not going to like this"

The said unknown brings out a limping, whimpering girl into my sight, dragging her by her hair held in a tight vice-like grip. Her body showcasing bruises and scratches littered across her body. A purple ring forming around her left eye. Her hands are tied behind her back painfully, legs tied together near her ankles. A dirty rag preventing her to get any louder than she is now. I try to free myself from the binds but it proves to be pointless.

"I didn't want to do this to her but she did not listen to me when I told her to change sides. Thought I would give her some motivation to change her mind. Maybe if you convince her to marry me" Sung Jae suggests with a smirk crawling up his face.

"You got an accomplice" I spit at him.

"Oh I'm not an accomplice, I'm her mother's husband"
