Jonathan

I was currently in the bleachers with Taylor and the rest of the group. Augusta was on the other side of the field with Jedidiah helping out with the game. I didn't know much about soccer but I was just more excited about after. "Maxwell asked me out on a date," I told Taylor and her eyes went wide. "Wait! Really! Did you say yes?" She jumped up and grabbed my hands. I just nodded and her face beamed with joy. "So that means he and Adam broke up? It makes sense why I didn't see him in our class today." We both sat down and then both of the teams came out and everyone started cheering. One of the coach's assistance was looking at the bleachers and started walking towards us with a shirt in his hand. "Jonathan right?" He asked me. "Yeah..." I said hesitantly. "Max asked me to give this to you." I grabbed the shirt and opened it up. It was a jersey and had Maxwell's last name and his number on it. "He wants you to wear it." The guy said and he walked away.

"Well put it on." Taylor nudged my arm and I looked at it confused. "I don't think I should, at least not yet. Maybe the next game." I folded it back up and put it in my backpack. The game started and I tried to follow along but I don't know the sport all that well. All I knew was that we were winning and Maxwell was scoring all the points on our team. He was doing really good especially with his leg still not being 100% healed. The buzzer went off signaling the end of the game and we all ran out the field. Everyone went straight to Maxwell saying congratulations and lifting him up. I waited on the outskirts of the crowd and waited for them to leave. Maxwell had his hair in a bun but there were strands framing his handsome face. He had a bit of dirt and sweat on his face. And for some reason, it made him way more attractive to me. He gave me a big smile and ran over to me. "Hey." He said. "Hi. You were great. I think. I don't know what happened I don't really get soccer." I told him laughing nervously. "Why are you so nervous love?" He stepped closer our faces inches apart.

"Why didn't you put on the jersey?" I didn't answer him, I didn't know what to say. "It's okay, I know for a fact that the next game you won't ever take it off. I need to shower real quick and then we can go on our date." I nodded at him. "Did you ride here with Taylor as I said?" I nodded again. "Alright good. Here's my bag and my keys are in it. You can wait in my car. I won't be longer than ten minutes I promise." He handed me his bag and gave me a quick peck on the cheek and ran inside the school. Though the kiss was quick it lingered on my forehead. I wanted more of it. And maybe tonight I would finally get it...

I walked to the parking lot with Taylor and Augusta. "Jonathan, relax. You looked so nervous." Taylor said rubbing my back. "I am relaxed! Do I not look relaxed?" That's when I realized I was yelling and took a deep breath in and out. "Okay, maybe I am a little bit on edge." I got to his car and I just stood there staring at it. "Should I get in?" Taylor gave me a stupid look and rolled her eyes. "He gave you keys for a reason. Plus its getting cold." Taylor shoved me over to the passenger side of the car and I got in reluctantly. "You're going to have fun tonight. Don't be so uptight and don't overthink it. And if he leans in to kiss you...let him." Taylor giggles and then walking away, leaving me sitting there waiting for him. It was only five minutes but it felt like the longest five minutes of my life. Just like he said he was out in no time and was wearing my sweater again and a pair of light wash jeans with holes on the knees. He had his hair gelled up in a tight bun.

He quickly got in the car and buckled his seat up. "Are you ready?" He turned looking at me. I just nodded and he started driving. "Where are we going?" I asked him once I realized we had been driving for a while. "Somewhere private." He just smirked and I got extremely nervous. "Relax love." He put his hand on my thigh and started to rub it up down. I guess this was supposed to relax me but it truly made things worse. I immediately stiffened and closed my eyes relishing in his touch. "Don't do that," I said grabbing his hand and moving it off of my thigh. I haven't been ouch like that in a long time. Sure I hooked up with Caleb but I didn't feel anything. I faked a climax to make him feel better but for me, I just felt worse. "Why do you do that?" He asked me moving his hand back to the steering wheel. "Do what?" I raised my eyebrow. "Nothing. Let's just get there." We drove in silence for a couple more minutes and it was very awkward. We finally made it to some random cabin and he pulled into the driveway. "What is this place?" I asked him. "Just come in and you'll see" I grabbed my bag and got int the car and followed him inside. It was cozy. It had gray and black accent colors.

"This is my place. My dad owned this place, kind of a secret hideout. I brought you here so that I can cook for you." He walked over to the kitchen and I followed him. "What are you going to cook?" I asked him and sat down at one of the chairs that were on the island and watch him go to the fridge. "Tacos. Nothing super fancy." He started to cook and we sat in silence. I didn't know what to say or how to carry a conversation. "What's on your mind? And don't say 'nothing', I can tell there's something wrong." He said with his back turned facing the stove. "Why wasn't I good enough for you? You know for you to leave him, and be with me?" I kept my face down but immediately he turned around and ran to my side. He grabbed my hands and stood right in front of me. "You are good enough. And I hate that I made you feel less than." He grabbed my face and lifted it to look at him. "You deserve the happiness you're looking for. I want to be the one that gives it to you. If you just let me." I could feel a tear escape and before I could wipe it, he did. "You've been through a lot. I promise to protect you, and keep you safe from any hurt or pain." His fingers were caressing my cheeks, it was such a pure and honest gesture, which left me melting in his hands.

"Jonathan, let me love you." Maxwell slowly started to lean forward and rests his forehead on mine. I looked into his eyes and I just nodded and started to cry. He pulled me into his arms and we sat there in each other's embrace. It was like we couldn't move. Our lycans needed to be near each other after being deprived for so long. "Let me finish the tacos and then we can watch a movie and we can cuddle on the couch." He pulled away and before I could stop myself I whined...like a little puppy. "Awwe baby," Maxwell started laughing and pulled me back into his arms. Yes, I hated the fact that I just whined like an idiot. I could feel myself blush and he looked at me like I'm crazy. "Don't be embarrassed love. Let me finish and I will be right back." He pulled away and went to the stove and finished cooking. My leg started to shake and I could feel myself wanting him. Not even in a romantic way, I just wanted to touch him and have him touch me. "Are you almost done?" I asked him, becoming more and more impatient. "Yes, love. Go turn the TV on and wait for me."

I did as he said without any hesitation and I was extremely confused as to why I did. Once over there I could feel my longing for him grow and I needed him near me. He finally walked toward me and sitting next to me on the couch. Maxwell moved the blanket and laid on the couch with his back leaning on the pillows and the armrest. I immediately moved in between his legs and leaned on his chest. We sat for about an hour eating our tacos and watching random shows. "What happening to me?" I asked him. We had put our plates on the floor and I was currently playing with each other's fingers. Our hands locked together. "Your lycan is crying out for mine. He isn't as resistant to a mate as you are." Maxwell chuckled lightly. "Why were you sent to boot camp?" I turned my head up to look at him a little bit. "I was a bit of a trouble maker growing up. My dads tried their hardest to tame me and teach me respect. But no matter what they did I always rebelled. They did what they thought was best, which was Bootcamp. I learned a lot there. How to be respectful, how to be a better man, and eventually a better mate. But I guess I failed at that last one." He took a deep breath and I could see regret in his eyes.

"Well, I think you are doing pretty okay now." A huge smile covered his face and his bright green eyes glowed. I couldn't help but smile back. His eyes flickered down to my lips and brought his bottom one on between his teeth. "I've got a crush on you." He whispered, causing me to blush. I didn't say anything back, I was too caught in the moment. Maxwell looked back down on my lips, his hand let go of mine and moved to my neck. He moved so slow, building up this tension in me. He moved his lips to mine. They were soft, softer than I imagined. The kiss was sweet and tender. Filled with so much longing and emotion that I couldn't comprehend them all. His thumb slowly caressed my face, which sent sparks through me. "I should go." I pulled away and whispered to him. "I know. Can we hang out tomorrow?" He asked in almost a pleading way. Almost unsure of my answer. "Yes, please."
