Maxwell was back in his office and I was sitting in the chair with a laptop. I was currently looking through a bunch of resorts and vacation spots as a surprise for Max. I wanted us to do something special, get away from everything, and just live. Then come back from the coronation and hopefully everything is back to how it's supposed to be. He said he preferred beaches so I'm trying to find someplace beautiful for us. Right now my mind is set on Bora Bora, the beautiful white sand beaches, the clear water. The beautiful blue sky seems like a great way to relax, unwind, and spend some much-needed quality time together. "What are you looking at?" Maxwell asked and raised an eyebrow at me. "Just some furniture, I was wanting to spice this place up. It's beautiful but it doesn't really feel homey if that makes sense?" I hope that was convincing enough. "Do you wanna go shopping for some furniture?" He questioned me lifting his eyes away from his work. "Like right now?" He nodded and leaned back in the chair. "Don't you have to finish that?"

"Later. Now let's go." He got up and walked over to me. I immediately closed my laptop so he didn't see what I was actually looking at. I got up as he dragged me through the house to the bedroom. "Get dressed." He walked to the closet and started pulling out a bunch of random clothes. That's when I noticed they were actually my clothes. "You moved all my stuff in here?" I grabbed the jeans he gave me and quickly put them on. "Actually your mom and dad did. They helped me out a lot while you were away." That surprised me, I would never have expected my parents to do such a thing. "Wait really? Last time I checked they hated you." I said chuckling a little bit. "You're not wrong, but they just love you more than they hate me. We should invite them to the family dinner tomorrow." Maxwell walked outside of the closet in a pair of black skinny jeans and a pastel blue short sleeve button up.

"Oh...I don't know. I kind of want to talk to them first before throwing them in the mix you know?" I told him as I fixed my hair. "That's true." He went and put in his shoes and so did I. "You ready?" He asked looking me up and down. "Yeah." I grabbed my wallet and phone and followed him out of the room. "Also, we need to go grocery shopping. We are cooking for dinner." My face lit up in fear. "What?!"

We made it to the furniture store and we were walking around looking at different sets. "We need something really nice. Can't have our home looking like no one lives there." I found this couch and loveseat seat that was cream and very beautiful. "You want to do white?" Maxwell raised an eyebrow at me. "You don't?" I sat down on the couch feeling it out. "Well, I mean I'm just thinking for the future, you know for when we have kids. Won't they get messy?" Maxwell said all nonchalant, looking at the price of the couch. "I mean we can always buy new couches. But let's go look and see if there are some gray ones." I got up and started walking with Maxwell right by my side. There was a group of guys walking past us and one of the more muscular ones seemed to fall behind his friends. He locked eyes with Maxwell and started to check him out. I immediately grabbed Maxwell's hand and pulled him to me. Maxwell's face was full of surprise and looked down at our hands. He wasn't expecting this type of affection from me which make sense, but he didn't mind. His face immediately beamed with a smile and pulled me closer to him. I locked eyes with the boy and he saw us holding hands and looked away. "Don't be jealous love, he wasn't that cute anyway," Maxwell whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"I wasn't jealous." I rolled my eyes but not making any move to take my hand away from his. "Don't act tough, baby. I mean if you weren't jealous then how about I just turn-" He started to walk backward toward the group. I growled and pulled him back to me and wrapped my arms around his waist. I rested my head on his shoulders and he pulled me to him. His scent relaxing me and I never want to leave this spot. "Come on, lets finish shopping." Maxwell pulled away, grabbed my hand, and pulled me to the rest of the couches.

We were back in his office and we found some great pieces for the living room and basement. I was back at looking at vacation spots and I decided on a Bora Bora. I decide to go with the Private Overwater Honeymoon package. It was five nights and we would have our own bungalow on the water. Our flight actually was leaving in the morning, which means no family dinner. I closed my laptop and was about to leave the office to go pack his things. "Wait. Come here." Maxwell said, I stopped in my tracks and turned around and stood there waiting for what he had to say. "Come here." He repeated, and I walked closer to him and stood by his chair. Maxwell grabbed my forearm and pulled me onto his lap. He wrapped his arm around my waist and hugged me. I immediately threw my arm around his neck and put my head in his neck taking in his scent. "Where are you going love?" He rubbed his hands up and down my back making me relax into his chest even more. "I was going to go to the room and take a shower," I said against his neck. "Why? You smell so good already." He ran his nose up and down my neck sending magnificent sparks.

"Don't leave, just stay right here." Maxwell started to lay soft slow kisses up and down my neck. I gripped onto his shoulder as he continued his slow torture. "Don't you need to finish this? I mean you really should finish this." I said softly as he moved his hands to my hips, and down my thighs. "What's wrong? You want me to stop?" He whispered in my ear. "Well no, but don't you have a lot to get done and-" Maxwell pulled away and looked down at me in confusion. "Why are you bringing up work when I am trying to love on you?" He pouted at me and raised an eyebrow at me. I averted my eyes, I was terrible at keeping secrets, that's one thing he'll learn about me. "What aren't you telling me?" I just sighed and gave up. "Fine. I planned a surprise trip for us tomorrow to Bora Bora. And I wanted you to finish your work so that we can spend time together and not worry about pack stuff." I huffed in annoyance and crossed my arms and pouted. A huge smile covered his face and stared at me in admiration. "Seriously?" He asked me sitting back in the chair. "Yes. And I was going to go pack your bag secretly and then just take you to the airport." I pouted.

"You are terrible at keeping secrets." Maxwell laughed at me. "I know I am, which was why I was trying to leave without you asking questions." I bit my lower lip and Maxwell's eyes went to my lips and his eyes went black and went back to its usual beautiful green. "I want to kiss you." He leaned forward, his lips were hovering over mine. "I want you to." Immediately after I sad that he pushed his lips on mine devouring me. I pulled him impossibly closer and his arms pulled held tightly onto my waist. It was intense, and heated and filled with need and adoration. Maxwell pulled away leaving us panting for air. "I guess we need to go pack"
