The eviction notice on Lennon's small cottage was enough to send her over the edge. She hadn't worked in months, which also meant she hadn't paid any of her bills. Her emotions were shot and she couldn't help but drink her pain away. She was drunk so much that sometimes she felt like she would never be sober again. The empty bottles and dirty dishes were piled in her small cottage, and she couldn't help but be happy she wouldn't have to stay in her cottage anymore. She was happy she could get away from a place she made so many memories with him. As she opened another bottle of alcohol, she couldn't help but remember she wouldn't have a roof over her head if she didn't get her shit together. She drank until the thoughts disappeared, and found herself falling asleep in the tub. She was fully clothed and not taking a shower or bath,  but the drinking made her forget how she should act.

"Lovely Lennon, how are you so beautiful?" Fred smiled at his girlfriend and flashed her a quick wink. "Fred?!" Lennon giggled and quickly completed her task of stocking inventory on the shelves before throwing herself into Fred's arms. Her job was mostly in the background of the dragon trainers. She stocked up medicines and herbal remedies for all sorts of magical creatures in the small shop owned by a local Romanian. She would occasionally get involved with the dragons in person, but her skills in medicine and magic were so high that they tried to keep her off site to help other emergencies in the area. Fred was finally running his own business, but it felt so far away from his love. He was supposed to spend the weekend in Romania at her cottage, but he surprised her and came two days early. "What are you doing here?" She smiled, kissing him deeply before he could answer. "I just missed your sweet face," His eyes were filled with such a deep love that anyone passing by could see it. "Fred?" Charlie's voice was suddenly heard as the bell jingled from the door being opened.  "Hi, Charles! Look who came early!" Lennon smiled happily and left Fred's arms to hug Charlie. He had wild flowers in his hand that he handed to Lennon, "I brought these for your vase at home. I found them growing in the field." His face began to get red and he couldn't help but try and avoid Fred's glare. "They are beautiful. Thank you, Charles. Fred and I are heading that way now." She smiled and turned to Fred. Charlie didn't have the heart to tell her she had forgotten about their plans for dinner that night. "Okay, Lenny. I'll see you later." He smiled at her and gave his brother a small hug before exiting the small shop. "Are you sure nothing is going on between you two?" Fred questioned, looking from the flowers to Lennon's innocent face. "He is my best friend, silly. He is your brother, too. Trust us both! We love you." Lennon told her boyfriend.

"Lenny,"
"Lenny,"
"Lennon, wake up!"
Lennon's eyes shot opened, blurring in and out of focus. "Charles?" She questioned, rubbing her eyes before looking at her guest once more. "You're getting evicted?" Charlie asked before either could say anything else. "Mmmhhmm," Lennon hummed, taking a sip of her now flat drink. The stale alcohol didn't feel right on her throat, but she couldn't help but sip it down. "Stop this mess," Charlie growled are her. Of all the time they had been friends, she never saw him angry at her. "Charles—" she started but he interrupted her by yanking her out of the tub into the standing position. She wobbled on her feet and before she could collapse Charlie had a tight grip on her waist. "I have tried everything for you, Lennon. Get your shit together." Charlie's voice was low and dark, and his eyes lacked the emotions she was used to seeing. "I can't," Lennon's lip quivered and she couldn't help but think back to her dream. "Well, I can't keep doing this..." Charlie trailed off, his grip finally loosening from Lennon. "What do you mean?" Lennon asked, her eyes wide with curiosity. "I can't sit here and let you drink and kill yourself. I love you too much to keep watching you do this." Charlie's words sat in the air as he completely let her go. She stumbled and fell to the ground. Lennon waited for Charlie to help her up, but staring into his eyes, she couldn't help but realize he wouldn't. "Charlie?" Her voice cracked, and Charlie knew he couldn't cave to her. She never called him anything but Charles, so the name sounded foreign to him from her mouth. "You need to pick yourself up this time. I'm not doing this anymore—I can't do this anymore." He threw his hands up before walking out the room, and out of her small cottage. He regretted his actions and words, but had no idea what else to do to help her.
