✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸The next morning Lennon awoke with the sheets covering her naked body. A small blush flushed her cheeks as she thought of the precious night. She could smell Draco cooking in the kitchen so she slipped on his shirt over her body. Lennon would say she looked a mess, but when Draco saw her he would say the opposite. His t-shirt on her made him fall a little harder for such a beautiful woman. No matter what she wore or how she did her hair, she always looked perfect. Her freckles on her face seemed darker from working in the garden that Lennon had started outside. "Would you like to move into my room? I think we sleep better with each other and I love having you in my arms." Draco finished breakfast and walked over to wrap his arms around Lennon. "I would enjoy that." Lennon smiled back, a tap on the window causing the two to pull away and look. Lennon opened the window and let the owl in. The poor owl had at least four letters weighing it down, all addressed to Lennon. She was happy to see Harry and Ginny were finally getting married and sending her an invite plus one. She waved the invitation at Draco in excitement and couldn't wait to attend the wedding. Lennon's face fell as she watched Draco stare at his Dark Mark, a hard glare coating his eyes. "Draco?" She questioned softly, putting her hand over the mark as she slowly caressed his arm. "Maybe I shouldn't go. I don't want them to feel uncomfortable because of me." Draco grumbled. "I'm sure they would love for you to attend." Lennon smiled at Draco, showing him the plus one invitation. "Len, you don't understand. I was terrible to both of them. I was hateful and cruel." Draco explained, pulling away from Lennon and grabbing his breakfast. They both sat at the kitchen table eating quietly when Lennon decided to speak up again, "I think 'was' is a huge word in your sentences. That's your past. Hell, that's all our past." With that the words sat, leaving Draco to think on if people like them could ever forgive some like him.

Lennon felt at peace when she was at her shop. She couldn't fathom how different things were for her because Draco stepped into her life. The hole in her heart was finally filled, but she still found herself wondering how Charles was doing. She missed her best friend, and didn't know what to say to him to help him from hurting. She contemplated taking a weekend trip to Romania to visit, but was nervous Charlie wouldn't want to see her. Time went on at the shop and as the busy day began to slow she had convinced herself to pack and go. There wasn't anything stopping her but her own pride—and asking Draco. The thought of Draco's reaction made her nervous. She knew he wouldn't want her going alone after what happened last time. "Rose, it's been awhile." The voice made Lennon look up and she couldn't help but squeal in excitement when she made eye contact with Hermione Granger, "Oh my Godric! 'Mione!" The two girls hugged each other tightly. The commotion had brought Draco out from the back of the shop. He had been in the inventory room for most of the day trying to figure out why they kept having a shortage in the same products. When Draco made eye contact with Hermione, Lennon wondered if he would faint. His face became pale and he suddenly couldn't look at anything but the ground. "Draco, this is Hermione." Lennon introduced, but she was sure they knew each other from school. "We've met," Hermione murmured, surprised not to see the previously cocky Malfoy. "I assume I'll be seeing you at Harry and Ginny's wedding?" Hermione questioned the two. Lennon was excited about the wedding, especially because she had been in such a rough spot for Hermione and Ron's wedding that she didn't get to go. "I don't believe I should attend. It wouldn't be right." Draco spoke up, surprising Hermione with his words of morals. She cocked her head to the side and shook her head, "I think it would be good for you, Malfoy." She waited for him to call her some nasty name, or poke fun or her outfit, but he never did. She looked up at Lennon who was fidgeting with the locket around her neck, "I think it would be good for both of you."
