The knock on the door didn't surprise Lennon, but who was behind the door did. "Charles?" Lennon questioned, shocked to see him standing at her door. Did he come all the way from Romania for me, Lennon questioned to herself. Charlie should have sent a letter before showing up on her doorstep, but when Ginny finally gave her Lennon's new address, he couldn't help but make a scene. He soaked in his best friends appearance that he had missed so much. Her tan skin, freckled face, curly hair. You could tell she had just woken up by her tired eyes, and the t-shirt that barely covered her bottom. It wasn't anything Charlie hadn't seen before, but it still made his heart beat a little faster. He tried not to think about whether Draco had seen her like that. "Lenny," Charlie finally breathed out, taking a step into her house. He took a look around, surprised Draco could have something not so dark and gloomy. "What are you doing here? How did you get my address? And why so early?" Lennon questioned, running a hand through her messy hair. She looked like she was doing better. Her honey brown eyes had the brightness returning to them, the brightness he thought was gone forever after Fred's passing. She still had dark circles under her eyes, and he wondered if she still had nightmares. He felt so distant from his best friend, and it made him sick. "I missed you." Charlie finally blurted out, reaching a hand out towards her. She took a step away, crossing her hands over her waist and looking away from Charlie. "You decided this, Charles. This is how things are now." Lennon spoke with a distance in her voice, like Charlie was a stranger now. "Who was it, Len?" Charlie heard Malfoy's voice before he saw him. He wish Malfoy didn't walk into the room because the sight of him in just pajama pants made Charlie's anger flare up. "Is something going on that I need to know about?" Charlie questioned, looking between the two. "We are roommates, Charles. Besides, if something was going on then it would be none of your business." Lennon spoke, rubbing her tired face. She said a silent wish that he would leave in good manners and not start something in her home. "I think it's every bit my business. I'm your best friend, Lenny." Charlie's eyes hardened and Lennon couldn't help but wonder what happened to her best friend. "If you were my best friend you would not be acting like this. What's wrong with you?" Lennon was quick with her response, and Draco could tell she was starting to get mad. "I think you should leave, Weasley. Before someone says something they will regret." Draco stepped between the two and held his hands up. "Butt out, Malfoy." Charlie sneers and pushes Draco out the way. "Get out. You've overstayed you're visit." Lennon's voice dropped and she walked over to the door, opening it and beckoning him out. "I don't support this, Lennon." Charlie grumbled as he stepped onto the porch. "Well, come to think of it, you don't seem to support anything I do." Lennon said in a sickly sweet voice, slamming the door in his face. Charlie was angry as he stormed down the driveway, finally apparating away. Lennon grabbed the closest throw pillow on the couch and screamed into it. Draco stood with wide eyes, unsure how to help. When Lennon brought the pillow down from her face, she was sobbing, "Why is this so hard?" Her knees buckled under her and she fell to the ground. Draco was there in seconds, cradling her in his arms. She cried into his chest and wrapped her arms tightly around him. She wondered how life would be if she never fell for Fred. She voiced her feelings allowed, questioning the world for its choices. "But, Lenny, is that what you want?" Draco interrupted her rant. She paused and looked up at Draco, wondering what she wanted. She wondered if she could be happy with Charlie. If that's what he wanted? She shook her head softly and leaned her forehead against Draco's. They were quiet for a moment, staring into each other's eyes. It was almost like they both realized how close they were, how little they were wearing—how similar it was to the first time they kissed. This time it was Lennon who leaned in first, except this time the kiss was gentle. Her lips brushed over Draco's with hesitation, but she quickly found herself pulling him closer to her. Draco ran his hands down Lennon's waist, tightening his grip when they met her upper thighs. The two broke apart and held each other's gaze, unsure of what to say.
