✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸Scorpius ran through the field as he chased his best friend, Rose. Rose was five and loved playing with her best friend, the year age difference didn't seem to matter to the two. Scorpius was very wise for his age, and it almost seemed like he acted older than Rose. He just turned four so the kids were playing in the Malfoy's backyard after the party. Lennon was holding their six month old daughter, Elysian Jean Malfoy. Hermione sat beside her on the swinging bench, watching Hugo try to lift his head and crawl on the blanket they brought outside. "Scorpy!" Rose yelled as she tried to tag Scorpius. The mothers' watched with small smiles on their faces. "This is all I could have ever wanted." Hermione smiled, looking over at Lennon. She looked tired but she still looked just as beautiful as ever. The two shared a bond that nobody would be able to compete with and they only grew closer with age. It was nice for Lennon to know someone who understood the pain behind having to stare at a word carved into your body, one that would never leave. Draco had learned so much from Hermione that he couldn't believe he ever thought so poorly of muggleborns. Between the shop and his work as an Auror, the Malfoy family had even started a small fundraiser to help muggleborn families while they transitioned to learning about their children's magical abilities. Things had changed over the years, and Lennon learned that people really do help shape other people. "Elsie, don't grow up." Lennon murmured to her sleeping baby. The innocence in her face made Lennon never want to stop having babies. "This one grew up on me with the blink of an eye," Hermione gave a sad sigh as she stared out at Rose. "She will be at Hogwarts before I know it." Lennon gave a sad smile as she watched Scorpius finally get tagged by Rose. "I hope they stay best friends." Draco and Ron came out the back door and sat in chairs near their wives. "They won't even be given the choice. They'll always be best friends." Ron chuckled, watching as the two hugged each other in the field. "They have the best influences." Charlie's voice appeared and Lennon tried not to be loud as she passed her sleeping baby to Draco. She pulled him into a tight hug. "What are you doing here?" She questioned, happy to see him. He was finally showing his age, and a small part of Lennon wondered if he would ever settle down and get married. She hated to be the reason why he couldn't find love. "I wanted to stop by and see Elsie and Scorp. It's a plus that my niece and nephew are here." Charlie admitted, picking up Hugo and pretending to throw him in the air. Hugo squealed and laughed as his uncle gentle tossed him. The families smiled as the spent the afternoon together, watching the children play until the sun went down. When they finally left the Malfoy's home, Scorpius was barely able to keep his eyes open as he was tucked into bed. "Goodnight, mummy. Goodnight, daddy." He whispered. Lennon and Draco kissed his forehead as he lightly snored. They walked into the nursery to make sure Elysian was still asleep before going to their own room, exhausted. "I know it's early to be talking about this—but maybe just one more baby?" Draco questioned as Lennon curled into his chest. Lennon hummed in response, fiddling with her engagement ring and wedding band. "What makes you say that?" Lennon questioned. "I've already been thinking about names is all, and I love seeing you pregnant. It is absolutely precious." Draco chuckled, kissing Lennon's lips softly. Lennon smiled at him, "Maybe these next two can be close in age?" A hint of sexual tension in her words. The two didn't think it would happen the first time, but merely weeks later they were announcing their third pregnancy to their friends at a dinner party. Theadosia Charlene Malfoy was born nine months later to complete the Malfoy family.

Author's Note:
Ouch. My feelings. But I'm patting my back for finishing this. I have 63 unpublished fanfiction drafts because I get so far in and can't bare to finish them. Once they're done—that's it.
I don't like endings, but this is refreshing for me. It almost makes me want to go through all of my unpublished stories and give them endings I never could.
Almost.
Love,
M
