The hurt in Lennon's heart was catching up to her as she continued to ignore alcohol. The only good thing Charlie's words did was open her eyes to her health. She knew she couldn't keep drinking like she was. It also didn't help that she had been fired from her job without a second thought. She didn't think they would hold it against her because of how the war hurt so many, but her boss had no sympathy for her. That left her with a week left to find a place before she was homeless and she jobless. Her vault had a decent cushion to give her a couple months to live off of, but she still didn't know what to do. She wished she could go to the Weasley's, but her stubbornness kept her from asking for help. It was almost as if fate was bringing her and Draco Malfoy together when they ran into each other once more when Lennon was searching for a new home. She figured London would be a change of scenery from Romania and she knew Fred wanted her to move closer to him before he passed. She felt like it was finally time she stopped clinging to her past home and moved on to her future. Lennon was walking along a busy muggle street when she stumbled into someone and got coffee all over her white blouse. "My apologies!" Lennon instantly apologized before she looked up into a familiar pair of stormy eyes. "Draco?" Her frown turned into a smile. Draco's eyes widened but he quickly pulled her out of the busy sidewalk, "What are you doing here?" Lennon cocked her head and looked around at the unfamiliar street. She had been lost in thought and couldn't tell where she was. "I got lost. I was trying to find some wizarding apartments for rent but ended up here." She admits, watching the muggles walking by with shopping bags. "You're moving here? I thought you lived in Romania." Draco was intrigued by Lennon's life. It was always interesting to hear from her. "I got evicted and lost my job. I figured I'd start fresh in Britain...it's what Fred would have wanted." Lennon spoke softly and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Her eyes met Draco's again and she couldn't help but admit to herself how attractive he was. He was so different than Fred, but not in a bad way. "You're more than welcome to come check out my home. I recently moved out of my Mother's and I have the extra rooms." Draco spoke without a second thought and instantly regret it. What if she took it the wrong way? He didn't want her thinking he was trying to force her into accepting. "I'd be more than happy to look. It would be nice having a roommate to help me around the area. Fred always knew his way around." Her voice grew quieter as she spoke Fred's name. Draco softly grabbed her hand and pulled her behind a building to get away from the muggles to apparate. He noticed the coffee making her white blouse look almost sheer and the lace of her bra made it hard for him to think, "Let me get that for you. We've been stumbling over each other a lot lately." Draco finally spoke and chuckled as he waved his wand and mumbled a spell. Lennon's shirt was suddenly back to normal and Lennon thanked him softly and reach for his hand to apparate. Lennon couldn't help but step closer to Draco as she squeezed her eyes shut and braced for the familiar pop. It almost distracted Draco by her closeness, but he quickly shook his thoughts and focused on apparating. When Lennon opened her eyes she was pleasantly surprised by his home. It was a nice sized house with a lot of field space behind it. "I'm surprised at how secluded it is. It's nice." Lennon smiled as she slowly spun around to take in the area. She could see a few other homes far out in the distance, but nothing close. "I figured a place away from people would be best for me...I'm not the most liked right now." Draco admitted, thinking about how the Malfoy name was tainted with the Dark Mark. Draco led her inside and showed her around. He had his room decorated, but the other three rooms were completely empty. "This is kind of sad, Draco. Why don't you have these decorated for your guests to stay? You could easily have friends over and spend the night." Lennon giggled as she walked around the empty house, wondering if all guys were bad at decorating. "I don't really have people that want to spend time with me." Draco admits, sitting on his couch as he watched Lennon pick one of his old family pictures of the mantel. "Well, you have me now." Lennon smiled at her new friend. She put the photo frame back on the mantel and sat beside Draco. She pulled her legs up and laid her head on Draco's chest. "You're a very affectionate person." Draco laughed and snuggled into her hair. "You make me feel comfortable. Some of my guy friends don't." Lennon smiled up at Draco. "Speaking of guy friends. What happened with you and Charlie?" Draco questioned and Lennon let out a dramatic sigh, "We have not spoken since you last saw us together. He's being very immature. I get he was trying to help me, but he didn't have to be so mean to me." Draco gave her a sympathetic smile and avoided meeting her eyes. He had a feeling Lennon would end up falling for Charlie, and he couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest for something he hasn't lost yet.
