Lennon felt that going to Diagon Alley would help her more than it would hurt her. She was scared to see the joke shop, but she knew it was something she finally needed to face. As she apparated out of her soon-to-be-not-hers cottage, she couldn't help but freeze in her spot as she looked at all the familiar shops her and Fred used to spend time in. A figure knocked into her, causing her to stir from her daydream and stumble backwards. A hand quickly grabbed hers and held her steady, "Lennon Rose, dragon healer?" The voice questioned and Lennon couldn't help but cock her head and stare into the curious eyes. "I'm sorry. I don't know you." Lennon spoke apologetically, making the stranger chuckle and let go of her hand. "I'm Draco Malfoy, you've probably heard a lot about me." Lennon thought the statement was cocky, but the more she stared the more she realized he looked ashamed. "I think I have actually heard of you." Lennon spoke, recalling all the things the Weasley family would say about the Malfoy family. She took a small step away from him, but it didn't go unnoticed by Draco. "I was just heading to get a coffee, would you like to join?" He asked politely. Lennon looked past Draco and suddenly caught eyes with the joke shop. Her breath hitched in her throat, and Draco turned to see what got her bothered. "Would you like me to walk you over there?" He asked, pointing at the joke shop. Her eyes glistened over and she couldn't help but feel embarrassed to be emotional in front of a stranger. "I'm sorry, Draco. You're very kind but...I can't do this right now." She spoke as if she was out of breath. Her anxiety had began to rise and she felt like she needed to calm her thoughts with a drink. Draco could smell the alcohol on Lennon. He wondered if that's what pulled himself to help her, if her beautiful face kept him hypnotized, or if his past was making him feel guilty. "Can't do what? You don't need a friend?" Draco gave a small smile and held his hand out of Lennon to grab, "Let's go get a coffee or tea to calm your nerves and then I'll go wherever you want." Lennon stared at his reached out hand for a moment before shakily putting her own into his. "I think I do need a friend right now. My best friend is angry at me," Lennon admitted to the handsome stranger in front of her. "You can talk to me about it if you'd like," Lennon didn't respond as they ordered their coffee and sat down in a small booth. As she stared into his beautiful eyes, she couldn't help but feel a sense of trust, "I don't think I'd know where to start." Draco took a small sip of his coffee before giving her a small smile, "Start with the basics and I'll tell you about myself as well."
