Abel

I laid on my bed for hours when I finally came to a realization that I was wrong for reacting the way I did towards Stef.

I took my hurt and anger out on her.

If it wasn't for her, I would have no clue alice was cheating on me.

I looked at the clock and couldn't believe I locked myself in the room that long over a bitch. I'm done.

It might not be an appropriate time, but I need to see Stef.

If I didn't fix this now, I'm afraid it will be worse if I wait longer. I don't blame her if she's mad at me.

I put on a sweater, I grabbed my phone, and I head out the door.

I walk three blocks quickly, and I speed up as soon as I see her house on sight.

When I get there, I knock on the door and stef's brother appeared in front of it.

"Is Stefany home?" I ask sticking my hands in my pocket.

Kade responded so fast I knew he was lying. "No."

"I know she's here, I need to talk to her."

"She doesn't want to talk to you right now." He said.

"But she's home right?“ I ask again.

He shook his head no. "I meant if she was here she wouldn't want to talk to you anyways."

“Alright, well let her know I stopped by."

He closes the door without a farewell.

I'm determined to see Stefany, and I'm not going home until I do. I made my way around the back.

The tree next to her window is an easy target to get into her room. I remember one time her parents wanted to get rid of it, but Stef wouldn't let them.

That tree is our way of sneaking in and out of her house late at night.

I'm in front of her window and I can't see a thing inside. The curtains are shut really good.

I slowly pulled it up and and peeked my head in first.

I spot stef sitting on her bed watching tv. She doesn't notice me because her back is facing me.

I'm extra quiet as I place my legs in first and then the rest of my body.

I walked slowly over and gently threw my arms around her. Stef screamed.

"Relax its just me." I speak.

I chuckled when she turned around and gave me an annoyed look.

"What are you doing here Abel?" She asks.

I stepped closer to her and she didn't move."I came to apologize about earlier. I shouldn't have acted like that towards you.“

Stef stared at me for a long second. "I understand Abel, I forgive you.“

I can tell she's still mad at me, I lifted her off the ground in a bear hug. I squeezed her gently.

I put her down slowly to find her finally smiling, seeing her smile was a relief. After a second her smile faded and I notice her looking at my hand.

There is dry blood all over.

"What happened to your hand?" She asks grabbing it.

"I punched the wall."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah" I chuckle.

"Hold on." I watched as she walked into her bathroom and a second later came back with a towel, and some alcohol.
