Stefany splashed a shit load of water at my face in reaction of me pulling her into the pool. I chuckled, and she rolled her eyes as she quickly pulled herself out. I do the same and bring my attention down to my phone in my hand. The screen is blacked out.
I'm going to need a new one.
“Was that really necessary? You ruined my outfit and phone.“
“I'm on the same boat.“
Stef shivers from the cool breeze and crosses her arms against her chest.
I'm completely soaked, but my hair doesn't look like it touched the water.
"Don't worry. I'll get you a new phone." I say.
“I need it as soon as possible.“
“First thing in the morning, i'll stop by your suite. Which one are you staying at?“ I ask.
There's a pause as if she's hesitant to give me that information.
"Suite one hundred and six.“
I nod. "I'll see you in the morning."
We say our good nights and part ways back to our own suites. With every step I take, I leave a trail of water leading all the way to the door of my room.
I ride the elevator up to the third floor and quickly scan the wet card key on the door. Each time I hold it up, the light goes red and won't let me inside. I tried three times before I knocked on the door to be let in.
Cash opens the door and brusts out laughing when he sees me.
“What the fuck happened? Is this your idea of getting fresh air?“ He asks.
"I was hot, I went for a swim.“ I joke.
“In your clothes? You must be gone gone.“ He says still laughing.
I pushed passed him inside.
I grab a fresh set of clothes from my suitcase and take a shower.
I hangout with the crew chilling on the couch. They all look just as tired as I am. We haven't had proper sleep for almost two days now. We really need it.
I let Sal know about the phone situation and tell him to take care of it.
I told him to buy a replacement for me and Stef with the newest and best iPhone available.
I can hardly keep my eyes open now.
I dismiss myself from the crew and fall asleep as soon as I touched the bed.
Stefany
I roll out of the king size bed and smile at a sleeping Jermaine looking like a big peaceful baby.
The thought of him not coming to L.A with me flips my smile into a sadden frown. The reason is valid.
Jermaine's momma is going through a rough patch and she needs her sons support. He's catching his flight today at twelve in the afternoon. A week will be a good duration of time for him to spend and catch up with the rest of his family out there.
The feeling of missing him is already above the surface and he hasn't even left yet.
I insisted in going with him, but he told me not to cancel my trip to L.A.
I lay out a set of clean clothes and hop in the shower. I come out twenty minutes later with a towel wrapped around my wet body. Jermaine is sitting on the bed ordering food over the phone.
