Abel
Just the other night at the club, Stef has escaped me from meeting face to face. Today she attended my concert with meet and greet tickets.
I don't understand why she would go through all that trouble in order to avoid me, but wind up here.
It feels like I'm dreaming, the fact that she's right in front of me after losing touch for years.
I kept my eyes on her for another long second and smiled when she caught me. Her expression didn't change a bit. She didn't even smile at all.
"Are ya'll hungry?" I ask, looking between Amara and Stef.
"Starving." Amara speaks immediately.
I drift my eyes to Stef, and she shrugs.
"Sure." She says nonchalant.
I nod. "We can hang out at my hotel and order food." I suggest.
Amara's face and eyes are full of excitement, but Stef seems not too fond on my idea at all.
I won't let her slip away so easily this time. I want to conversate over some things.
"We can chill at my crib, I'll order pizza." La Mar speaks behind me.
I can see the lust in his eyes as he's looking at Stef. There's no mistake why he would offer to hang out at his crib. He's always had a thing for her.
"I love pizza." Amara speaks.
"Sounds good to me." Stefany says an agreement.
I direct them to meet us in the parking lot in the back.
My driver pulled up beside them and had them follow us to La Mar's crib. The crew came along.
I don't often invite fans to hang out with us, but I don't consider Stef a fan. She's someone I had a close connection to before my fame days began.
I don't know why I'm trying to reconnect a connection that's nonexistent anymore.
The last time I saw her, she promised that she would love and support me forever.
I know that part of why we drifted apart was because of the fame, but a lot is still a mystery.
I don't know why our friendship broke off completely.
Stef avoided using social media and changed her number. She made sure there was no way we would ever come in contact again.
It's been years, and I'm curious if she has an Instagram now. On the way to La Mar's crib, I searched her up by her name, but nothing came up.
My driver pulled up in front of Lamar's crib, and we all got out of the car. He opened the door to his place and invited us inside.
"I ordered the pizza on our way here. It should be here soon. For the mean time mi casa es tu casa." La Mar says.
I chuckled.
"You don't say?" Hawk speaks with a grin.
La Mar gawked at him. "Just don't fuck shit up."
I take in his crib from wall to wall and room to room.
My broski has upgraded a lot of things to make it homey from what I remember.
It makes my place look like a pile of shit compared to his, but there's no point in making mine all nice.
I've only seen my place twice in one year, and that's what I have to get used to for a long time.
