Abel
I was on my way to the bar section when I ran into Stefany. She seems upset about something. I try to make her feel better by holding her in my arms.
"Are you okay? Do you need something?“ I ask, feeling helpless.
"I'm fine, Abel." She said, sounding careless.
"Come on, let's get out of here," I tell her as I take her hand.
"Where are we going?" She asks, pulling herself back.
"Let me take you for coffee or to get something to eat.“
"I can't Abel, i'm supposed to be working."
“I'll ask your boss to let you off.“
She rolled her eyes. "No, just because you're the weeknd, it doesn't mean you will get it your way. I just got back from vacation, and he won't like it.“
"We will have to wait and see about that." I say.
YG is blasting through the speakers as we made our way to Stefany's boss office. I hold onto her hand as I lead the way.
I knocked on the door twice.
"This is a bad idea." She mumbles.
I ignore her while I wait patiently. After another second, the door finally opens, and her boss appears in front of us.
I remember meeting him for the first time when I first stepped into this club. The man was very down to earth, and he always made sure that the crew and I were taken care of.
"Abel, I'm truly sorry if the service is bad, I'll call someone to fix it, pronto," He says as he pulls out his walkie-talkie from his side pocket.
I chuckle."No, you don't have to do that, I don't have any complaints about the service here." I say stopping him.
He raised his eyebrow. "What seems to be the problem?"
"No problems, can I borrow Stefany for an hour?“
He looked surprised. He quickly cleared his throat.
"Stefany, the bartender?" He asks, making sure he heard correctly.
"Yes, this one." I said, pulling her closer so that he could see.
He laughs whole heartly. "Of course, of course."
Stefany smiles nervously.
“She won't be long-”
He cut me off.
"Oh, it's fine. Take the rest of the night off if you want." He says, smiling at Stefany.
Stefany's mouth drops open and quickly steps closer to him.
"The rest of the night? Chris, are you sure?“ She asks.
"Take it and don't ask no more." He says.
"Thanks, Chris." I say.
"No problem, have fun." He says, closing the door.
Stefany looks at me with a look of disbelief.
“I can't believe you got him to agree.“
I shrug. “Don't doubt the boy.“
We step out, and she pulls out her car keys.
"I could have my driver take us." I offer.
"I don't mind driving." She speaks as she unlocks the doors.
"What do you have in mind? Coffee sounds good.“
"Starbucks?" I ask as I reach for the seatbelt.
She nods.
We pull up to starbucks when I realize I shouldn't walk in there without Freddy or Mayne. I'm bound to be recognized by crazy fans.
"Shit," I mumbled under my breath.
Stefany parks and cuts the engine. "What is it?“
"I should've brought Mayne along if we plan to go in.“
I don't order my own food often, I have one of the guys do it for me.
"We can drive through.“
We get our coffee and drink it on our way to our next destination.
"So you want me to take you home? Or back to the club?" She asks.
"You can take me home."

We pull up in front of my crib, and I look down at the empty starbucks cup.
That shit was fire.
I almost forgot blended coffee tasted this good.
The whole way to my crib, we had random conversations, but it was entertaining.
"You want to come in?" I ask.
"Sure."
I open the door and flick on the first set of lights in the living room.
The room lit up perfectly, and everything was nicely straightened up and clean.
"You know you never did finish that game of pool." I say, looking over my shoulder at her.
"I haven't had the chance to.“ She says, following behind me.
I smirk. "You have time now. We can play a round.“
She chuckles. "You want to lose?"
"Confident I like it, but I won't lose.“ I say as I lead her to the pool table.
“Prove it. Words don't mean anything.“
She rubs her right shoulder, and I notice the wanderlust tattoo on her collarbone with a heart next to it. I step closer and stand in front of her.
There's a look of confusion on her face.
"What are you doing Abel?" She asks, leaning back in, surprised by how close I am to her.
I don't say a word as I pick her up and place her on top of the pool table.
I pull the right shoulder side of her shirt
down to get a better look at the letters inked on her collarbone. Her focus turns to what i'm looking at.
I run my hand over the tattoo.
"What made you get this?“ I question.
"My desire for traveling, but also because wanderlust is my favorite song by you. All my tattoos mean something to me.“
"So I still mean something to you?“ I ask her bodly.
Our eyes lock, and she gives me an intense stare but no words.
I stand between her legs, pulling her as close as I can to me.
Our faces are only inches apart.
We look at each other for a second long as if we're afraid to make any movement.
I press my lips against hers.
I begin with a gentle, close-mouthed kiss with one arm around her waist and the other on her leg.
I slowly open my mouth to deepen the kiss.
I hear a faint moan escape her lips. It's going to be challenging not to take things further.
