Chapter 32

We get to come back to school after our break today. I walked to school with an extra pep in my step, spinning my umbrella.
"Woah, isn't that the kid who won the sports festival?!" a person said to their friend, "they're a lot punier in person, I bet I can beat them in a fight."
"You wanna try that mister!" I yelled at him cracking my knuckles.
He went silent, causing more people to start whispering about me. I walked faster to get past all of the people.
"This isn't a time for an idle stroll, we'll be late!" a voice yelled, speeding past me.
"Good morning Iida!"
"Good morning (L/N)!"
I ran after him, being a few strides behind him. After a while we met up with Midoriya. Iida gave him the same speech he gave me.
"Good morning broccoli!"
"G-Good morning (L/N)!
I put my stuff in my locker and walked to class. I saw Mina, Tsu, Kiri, Sero, and Toru talking so I walked up to them.
"Hi everybody!"
"Hi (L/N)!"
"Did people say anything to you on your way to school?" Mina asked.
"Yeah, some guy said they could beat me in a fight so I challenged them and they said no."
"(L/N), that's so unmanly!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"Honestly that's kinda funny." Sero said.
I heard the bell rings so I ran to my seat. We get to choose our hero names today. But we get to see our opportunities first. I got 4,123 tying with Todoroki.
"Didn't they get second and third switched?" someone asked.
I'm going to hate going through all the papers and I'm very indecisive. Midnight came in for our hero names. I have the perfect one in mind for my quirk. I got the board and wrote down my name. Aoyama put I Cannot Stop Twinkling, which was shortened to Can't Stop Twinkling. Mina was Alien Queen,which was changed to Pinky. Tsu was Froppy, which was adorable. Kiri was Red Riot. Jiro was Earphone Jack. Shoji was Tentacole. Sero was Cellophane. Ojiro was Tailman. Sato was Sugarman. Kaminari was Chargebolt. Toru was Invisible Girl. Yaomomo was Creati. And Todoroki was Shoto, such an original hero name. Tokoyami was Tsukuyomi. M*neta was Grape Juice. Koda was Anima. Bakugo made his name King Explosion Murder, which made me hold back a laugh. Uraraka was Uravity. My name, Midoriya, Iida's, and Bakugo's revision was all that was left. Iida made his hero name his first name too. Midoriya made his name Deku, which was surprising considering it was a degrading nickname. But someone helped him see it in a new light. He walked back which was my cue to go up.
"My hero name is... The Friendly-Neighborhood Hero: Illu!" I exclaimed holding my hands out like spider-man.
"Such a perfect name (L/N)!" Midnight exclaimed.
"Yeah, a dumb name for a dumbass." Bakugo said.
"Says the person who wanted to be named King Explosion Murder." I said, rolling my eyes.
I walked back to my seat getting a high five from Sero, a fellow spider-man fan. I sat down to see Bakugo's new name: Lord Explosion Murder.
"A dumb name for a dumbass!" I yelled.
He glared at me and I glared back with the same intensity.
"Ooooo, do you and Bakugo have some unsaid sexual tension?" Mineta asked.
"Shut up before I turn you into your hero name." I growled.
Next we got our papers for out internships. I got a giant stack papers to look through. I started at them, hoping I didn't have to look through all of these. I saw Endeavor hell no, Hawks hmm maybe and a bunch of other agencies.
"(L/N)-San, would you like some help?" Iida asked.
"Yes, thank you Iida!"
I got up and gave him a hug, at first he stayed still but then he gave me a few pats on the back. He got a chair and put in around my desk.
"Iida where are you planning to go for your internship?"
"Manual, why?"
"Manual, he's in Hosu right? I've always wanted to go there. I think that's where I'll go!"
"But (L/N)-San you have so many great opportunities, don't you want to look at them?!"
"Because I haven't spent much time with you Iida, who knows maybe we could bond together."
"You don't have to make that decision just to spend time with me, I ca-"
"Iida, I want to go there." I insisted.
I handed Aizawa my choice of my internship. He looked surprised but he nodded his head and took my paper. I walked back to my desk, packing up my stuff. After that I ran home, twirling and jumping. I got weird looks from people but I didn't care. I got home and did my homework.
