Chapter 40

"Hey, aren't you supposed to tell me what's supposed to happen?"
"Nope, I've been told not too." Infinite grinned. "But I can tell you one thing, I won't hold back."
"I guess I won't either."
The ride was spent in silence until we finally got to where we were. It was a weird dome with a lot of buildings.
"Have you familiarized yourself with the area (L/N)?" she asked.
"No."
"Well you'll just have to figure this out quickly." she walked away leaving me there.
"So basically for this you have 30 minutes to either capture me with these handcuffs or you can run." she tossed the handcuffs at me.
"But I thought you weren't to tell me anything?"
"That was a lie!"
Clap clap
Everything went dark. Oh jeez. Luckily I could hear her footsteps. Wait that could be a clone though.
"Ready.... Go!"
Immediately I went up to the building. I do have a little bit of the quirks to use from people in class, but if anyone in the class finishes early I'd have a lot of explaining to do. So I'll win witout the quirk of any people on my class. I took the staff out of my belt and felt my way to the edge of the building.
"You should get a move on already, you don't want to fail do you."
Huh, that was oddly close to me.

Without even thinking I turned around and threw her off the building.
Wait wait wait. Pause.
Did I really throw her off the fucking building, (Y/N) you dumbass.
I looked over to see a flash of light. I'm a murderer. I jumped of the building but I never felt anybody. So I got down and reached out to touch a pile of dust. I quickly reached down to get the flashlight and turned it on. All of a sudden the dust pile got up and flowed in the wind. I followed after it since there are no air currents this shouldn't be moving. So this is odd huh, but this feels like I'm in Scooby Doo or something.
Bonk!
I really just got hit in the head. I looked over to see my staff in the light of the flashlight. Huh, the ground is nice. Do I really have to get back up.

Okay, but first I need to figure out what hit me.
I looked around to see a T-shirt. But even then a normal throw shouldn't be able to knock someone down. What did she have a cannon?
I got shot with a T-shirt cannon.
Wait but to have such good aim, she probably has night vision googles. I did notice a tiny satchel with her.
Wait I think I passed a satchel on the way here. I picked up the satchel and looked inside.
Ring!
There was really an alarm in here. I am really dumb.
"Ah fuck!" I yelled, covering my eyes as the lights came on.
"The first team to pass is Todoroki and Yaoyorozu!"
Good job you two.
"Hey (L/N), don't think it's over yet!"
I turned around to see Infinite on the edge of the building.
"I know you've got a strong quirk, but I won't back down!" she yelled, jabbing her thumb into her chest. "Because out of the infinite obstacles, I'll climb over them and come out on top."

"That was too corny wasn't it."
"It was fine. But today I'll come out on top."
