Avani's Pov I woke up with this tight feeling in my chest. It was fear. I was afraid to see Anthony today after our whole encounter. But I didn't want to skip out on Addi, Charli and I's day. I got up and jumped in the shower when I got out I put on this outfit.

I wanted something more comfy. I put my hair in a messy bun then I put on some deodorant and perfume. I put on very light makeup and went to go open my curtains. I opened them then I saw him again standing there on his phone. I saw him look up very slightly and I just turned and walked away. I headed downstairs and my mom already made me pancakes. I thank her then I sit down and eat them. It's now 7am so I decide I would go to the coffee shop then I would walk to school. I kissed my mom on the cheek then I went to get coffee. I walked past Anthony's house and just kept my eyes forward. When I got there I ordered three iced coffee then I started walking to school. I saw addi and Charli our front and I handed them there coffee. They both hugged me and then we went in the school. I grabbed my stuff from my locker then we walked to homeroom like usual. We walked by the boys again and Anthony looked me up and down slightly and then kept walking. I was FLIPPING OUT. We got into homeroom and started talking about them. The next thing I knew it was 1st hours. I was so nervous. I walked in and sat in my usual corner spot and got out my pencil. Then they walked in. He sat next to me like usual and class started. At the end of class I went to get a drink and when I got back there was a note. But before I could open it the bell rang. Everyone rushed out of the classroom. *skip to lunch* I still haven't opened the note yet I was scared. Addi and Charli asked me what was wrong but I didn't bring it up.
It was now the end of the day and I met Charli and Addi at the front once again. As I was looking for them I bumped into a boy. He started screaming at me then next thing I knew I was on the floor. Addi and Charli ran up to me and helped me up. I was dizzy. I remember seeing Anthony on top of the dude punching him while I was being pulled away by Addison and Charli. When we got to my house they grabbed me an ice pack and my mom asked me what happened. I told her. We sat there chatting a bit before we headed upstairs. I sat on my bed and talked to Addi and Charli. "Sorry I ruined our girls day" I said frowning. "You didn't ruin it at all" addi says comforting me. "This is why you two are my best friends" I saw looking up smiling. They both hit me tight and we chat for a little before they both leave. I'm just in my room now when I get this massive headache. I notice a large bruise on my cheek from getting punched. I also have scratches all down my legs. I ask my mom to stay home tomorrow and she of course said yes. I walk back up to my room with my dinner i sit in front of my window looking at the sunset. I feel like I'm being watched as I look back down. I notice a boy staring back at me. It was Anthony. I smiled at him and he actually smiled back. LIKE WOW. I looked back up at the sky and am slowly mesmerized by the stars appearing. I look back down and Anthony is still there watching it too. I wake and smile and he does it back. I stand up and my knee gives out and I fall back down. I lay on the floor for a second when I hear my mom rushing in. She asks me what happened and I tell her I just feel. She helps me up then leaves. Anthony is still there nervously staring. I give him the thumbs up and I smile I then wobble to my curtain and close it. I wobble to my dresser and change then I gently lay myself down on my bed trying to sleep but I can't. Something is keeping me up. Then I remember. THE NOTE. I grab my bag from the side of my bed and grab out a now wrinkled piece of paper. I read it. "Hi I'm the boy who sits next to you in class! My name is Anthony and I was wondering if we could be friends. You seem really nice. If not I understand. Just text ********** with your answer. Oh and what's your name? -Anthony"
I grab the piece of paper and hold it to my chest. THE ANTHONY REEVES WANTS TO HE FRIENDS WITH ME!!! I got all excited. Then I feel my eyes slowly become heavy and I fall asleep.
