Chapter 29: Dinner

Avani's Pov
I wake up to the light hitting by face. I look down and I see Anthony peacefully sleeping on my stomach. I admire his still body. I look at the clock and the alarm goes off in one minute so I turn it off before it could beep. I lightly run my fingers through his hair and he slowly wakes up and looks up at me. "Goodmorning beautiful" he says. "Goodmorning Bebe" I say and he smiles. "I have to get ready for school" I say. He groans and hugs around my waist tighter. "Do we have too" he says in a grumpy voice. "Yes Anthony" I say. He just stays still. I pull his head back and give him a kiss on the lips and he smiles. "Come onnnn" I say. "Fineeee" he says and I laugh. He gets off my stomach and I get out of the bed. "You still have to get me my zip up" I say and he giggles. I give him a quick kiss on the lips and I run to the window. I jump out of his window and I go back through mine. I grab out a cropped tank top and I slip that on. I keep on his grey sweats and I put back on the gray zip up but I only zip it halfway. I then go to my bathroom and I cover up any noticeable hickeys then I put my hair up in a high ponytail. I put on very light makeup, deodorant, and perfume. I'm finally ready so I unlock my door and I go downstairs to my mom. "Goodmorning hunny how did you sleep" she asks. "Good how about you" I ask her. "Wonderful" she says and I smile. She hands me the breakfast sandwich she just made and I thank her and eat it. Once I finish I give her a quick hug and I go and grab my backpack from upstairs. I put on my shoes and I head out the door. I'm a little early so I walk over to Anthony's window and knock on it. He comes to the window and smiles at me. I laugh. He signals me to wait and I watch as he leaves his room. I walks over to his car and he makes it outside. I watch as he checks me out. "Ooo your repine my close today" he says. "Yep" I say and I giggle. "I love it" he says and I smile at him. He opens the car door for me and I get in. He goes to his side and gets in. "Wanna get some coffee since we have time" he asks me. "Yeah of course" I say and he nods and grabs my hand. We drive to the coffee shop and we get out and he grabs my hand. We walk inside and we order some iced coffee and then we go back out to the car. We sit in the parking lot and we talk and drink our coffee together. Soon we both finish and he grabs my drink and he goes and throws it away. Once he gets back into the car I grab his shirt and pull him into a kiss. "Thanks babe" I say and he smiles. "Your welcome" he says and gives me another peck. He places his hand on my thigh and starts driving to school. Once we get there I give him a quick kiss then I get out of the car and I go and find Addison and Charli. I give them a quick hug and I notice a hickey on Charli's neck. "Uh Charli" I say pointing to her neck and she gets all red. I hand her a bandaid since I didn't have makeup. "Thank you so much Vani your a life savor" she says and I laugh. I help her put on the bandaid and she thanks me again. We then walk into the school and we go to my locker first. I grab out my stuff then we're ready for homeroom. We pass by the boys and I giggle as they walk by. We can all guess what happened with Charli and Chase last night. Once we make it to homeroom we make Charli tell us about chase. She was scared at first but eventually opened up. Like I said before as long as she's happy im happy, we talked about how much fun last night was and how we wanted to do it again. "We'll definitely do it again" I say and they nod. Soon the bell rings and they walk me to my first hour. There's still no sigh of Veronica. I go and sit down in my usual spot. I'm actually not half as tired considering the coffee in my system. A few minutes later the boys walk in and I roll my eyes at Anthony. He just smiles and sits down. I pay attention to the teacher as she walks in but I feel eyes on me so I look over and I see Anthony staring. I wave my hand in front of his face and he turns red. "Your drooling" I say and he wipes his lip and I laugh. The bell rings and class starts.
*skips to lunch*

It's finally lunch it's been a long day. I'm just bored. I see the girls and I don't get lunch again. We still wait in the line because they wanted lunch. Once they grab their trays we walk over to our usual spot and we talk. Soon the boys come over with there food and we all talk. "No lunch again today" he asks me quietly. "No I don't feel like it" I say. "Just one chicken nugget" he says holding it up and I shake my head. "For me" he says and I roll my eyes and eat it. He smiles and we continue talking with everyone. Soon the bell rings and lunch ends. Anthony walks me to my next class and I watch as Bryce and Addison and Charli and chase break off into deprecate groups. "You okay" Anthony asks me as I dozed off. "Huh oh yeah sorry I got distracted" I say and he laughs. "It's alright" he says rubbing my back. Soon we make it to my class and I thank him again and I go into class.
*skips to after school*

Schools finally over. I go to my locker and get out my backpack. I close it and I see Anthony standing there and I jump. "Jeez Ant you gotta stop with that" I say and he gives me a hug. "Sorry" he says. "It's fine" I say letting go. "Ready?" I ask him. "Yep" he says and we walk out of the school together. I see the girl's so I quickly give them hugs and we walk to his car and get in. "Do you wanna come over for dinner tonight" I ask him. "Yeah of course" he says and I smile at him. He places his hand on my thigh and starts driving back to my house. He parks in his driveway and he leaves his bags in his car. I grab his hand and we walk to my house. I let go once I open the door and I see my mom. "Hey mom do you remember Anthony" I ask her. "Oh yes of course" she says giving him a hug. "Is it okay if he comes over for dinner" I ask. "Yes of course hunny he's always welcome" she says and we both thank her. She gives us both plates and gives us food. We go and sit at the kitchen table and we all chat about random stuff. Once we finish eating Anthony grabs all of our plates and washes them. My mom seems surprised but she thanks him. "Well you two have fun I'm gonna go to bed" she says. "Okay goodnight I love you" I say. "Love you too be good" she says looking at me. "I will" I say with a smile and she goes to her bedroom. I take Anthony's hand and I take him up to my room. I close and lock my door. "I need to shower" I say. "Ooo yeah me too can I come" he says and I laugh. "Yeah sure" I say and we go into my bathroom. I take off my clothes and I feel his eyes on me but I just get into the shower. He gets in after me and we both take a quick shower. I get out and wrap myself in my towel and Anthony steals the sweats I had on. I just laugh and I grab some of my spandex shorts and I put on his zip up over my sports bra. I put some hair product in my hair and I brush my teeth and put on some deodorant and perfume. I don't even bother covering up my hickeys because it's nighttime anyway. Anthony is already laying on my bed so I go and sit next to him. I lay my head on his stomach and he hugs me tightly. We turn on a movie and he plays with my hair. Soon I slowly fall asleep.
