Avani's Pov I wake up to the sound of my alarm but this time I had a smile on my face. I was excited to see Anthony again even though I just say him yesterday. I went and took a shower then hopped out and put on this outfit.

It covered most of my hickeys but the ones it didn't cover I through makeup on top of them. I then put deodorant and perfume on and put my hair in a messy bun. I went and opened my curtain and like usual Anthony was waiting for me at his window. I smile and blow him a cheeky kiss then before he can react I run out of my room and go downstairs. My mom is awake and she is making an egg sandwich. She hands me one and I eat it quickly then I go out the door. Anthony is about to get in his car so I sneak up and jump on his back. He jumps really high and I giggle at him. He turns around and gives me a quick peck on the lips then walks me to the passenger side door. He opens it and I hop in and smile. He runs to his side of the car and he hops in. We head off to school. Once we got there he kissed me on my forehead and I jumped out of the car to find Addison and Charli. I see them and I run up too them and give them a hug. They laugh and we start walking to homeroom. We pass the boys and I notice chase wink at Charli and Addi and I both look at Charli and giggle. She's as red as a tomato. We get to homeroom and talk like usual. Then it's first hour. I walk in and that Veronica girl is in my seat! I walk over and talk to her. "Um that's my seat" I say. "I'm sorry but I don't remember the teacher assigning seats to people" she says in a nasty tone. I walk up to her and I whisper in her ear. "If you don't get out of my seat we're going to have a problem sweetie" I whisper smiling at her. She gets up and rolls her eyes and walks away. I smile and sit down then the boys finally make it in the room 1 minute before the bell rings. They sit down and I smile at Anthony and he blushes a little. I giggle then listen to the teacher. *skips to end of the day*
School is finally over for the day and I begin to walk out of the school when someone grabs my wrist. It was Veronica. "WHAT THE HELL" I scream. "I'm not done with you yet" she says and punches my stomach. I gasp for air and punch her in the chest. She's on-top of me punching my face while I'm punching her stomach trying to escape her grasp. I feel myself get light headed and everything goes black. I feel the weight of her get lifted off me and I gasp for air. I cant see anything. I feel someone grab me and I open my eyes slightly. It's Anthony. He has tears in his eyes and is rushing to his car. I see Addi and Charli right behind his and they hop in the car. Anthony lays me down lightly on the seat and buckled me up. He runs to his side of the car and speeds off. I black out again. I wake up in a bright white room and I look around. I see Anthony and he smiles at me with tear stained cheeks. "Hey Bebe" he says while smile. "Hey Ant" I say with a raspy voice. I see Addi and Charli in the coroner of the room and they come over and hug me. I'm attached to this machine and I realize I'm in a hospital room. The nurse walks in. "Hello Ms.Gregg glad to see you awake how are you feeling?" The nurse said. "I feel a little pain but I fell better" I say. "Alright you should be able to leave the hospital now but take it easy these next few days. I can give you a doctors note to skip school Tuesday-Friday" she says. "Okay thank you" I say. She unhooks me from the machine and helps me into a wheelchair. I have a brace on my ankle and bandages all over my face and stomach. Anthony pushes me to his car Addi and Charli close behind and he sets me down in the seat and buckles me. The whole car ride is silent and he takes Addi and Charli home first. They hug me then leave. Ant looks at me and smiles. I weakly smile back. "I should have been there" he says when tears start to form. "You didn't know it was going to happen no one did. Don't be so hard on yourself" I say with a comforting smile. He places his hand in mine and I intertwine our fingers. He squeezes my hand then kisses it. We finally get to my house and he helps me out of the car. He goes up and rings the doorbell. My mom answers and hugs me. "Thank you so much for staying with her. I wish I could" she says to Ant. "It's the least I could do Mrs.Gregg" he says. My mom takes me inside and sets me on the couch. Ant goes to his house. My mom hands me a plate of food. I eat it and watch the tv. It's now 12pm and my mom helps me up to my room. I grab some sweats and put on the zip up that Ant gave me. He sees me in the window and texts me. *Anthony Bold Avani Regular* Ant <3 Hey beautiful how are you feeling?
I feel okay but my legs feel week.
Do you want me to come over?
Yes pwease 🥺
Okay okay I'm coming! *chat ends*
I lay in bed then I hear a knock at my window. I open it slowly trying not to make any sound and he hops in. I hug him and don't let go. We stand there hugging for a minute until I finally speak. "Wanna watch the office" I ask with a huge smile on my face. "Of course" he says. I plop down on my bed and hold my arms out. He jumps on the bed and scoots close to me. I look at him and he looks at me. I get lost in his baby blue eyes and he leans in and kisses me softly. We kiss for a minute then he slowly pulls away and touches our foreheads together. We cuddle and I begin to feel my eyes slowly close. I feel him kiss my forehead. "Goodnight bby" he whispers. "Goodnight Bebe" I say and I fall asleep in his arms feeling safe.
