Chapter 43: I Miss You

Avani's Pov
I wake up to one of my headphones out of my ear. I slowly open my eyes and look at the phone and I see Anthony asleep. His room was more lit up now but it didn't really look like his room. I looked at my phone confused but was soon distracted by his eye opening and a smile being spread across his face. I smile at his tired face. "Goodmorning baby" he said, his voice scratchy. "Goodmorning" I say with the biggest smile. "I miss you baby" Anthony said pouting. "I miss you too" I say frowning. "When is your mom going to let you hang out again?" He asked. "I'm not sure maybe when she finally forgives me" I say rubbing my eyes. "Avani who are you talking to?" My mom said standing at the door. "Anthony" I say looking over at her. "Get up you have to get ready for school" she said strictly leaving my doorway. I look back down at my phone to see Anthony admiring me. He snapped out of it and frowned. "Do you need me to hang up?" He asked and I quickly shook my head. "Please stay" I say and he nodded. I got up and brought my phone with me. I grabbed some clothes and I went into the bathroom and closed and locked the door. I propped the phone up so he could see my whole body and I shuffled around the bathroom and grabbed my outfit and put it on.

I didn't realize I was in front of my phone until I looked down and watched Anthony smirk. I rolled my eyes at him and I watched him look me up and down once again. "You know suddenly I wanna come over" he said and I laughed. "You can't" I say and he frowns. "Can we skip school then" he whined and I shook my head. "So I have to just ignore the fact that you are the hottest girl in the world" he said causing me to smile. "It's too early to be horny Anthony" I say holding my head and laughing. "It's never too early" he said causing me to laugh harder. "I'll see you in a little ant" I say and I watch him pout. I hang up and I leave out of the bathroom and go downstairs. My mom already left with Priya so I just ate a small breakfast and grabbed my bag. I grabbed my phone and went out the front door and got into Anthony's car. I watched his check me out again so I playfully slap his arm. "You're still horny!?!" I say and he quickly shifts his eyes causing me to laugh. He placed his hand on my thigh and I looked up at him and watched him smirk causing me to roll my eyes.

Soon we made it to school and we got out and he immediately grabbed my hand and I let out a slight laugh. "You need to control yourself" I whisper to him with a smile. I felt him squirm which made me smile. We walked up to our group and they all greeted us like normal.
*skips to lunch*
School has been a typical day so far besides the fact that Anthony was acting weird. Everyone was used to it by now though. I didn't eat lunch today due to be not being hungry. We all just sat and talked like normal and Anthony placed his hand on my thigh under the table. I just looked up at him and rolled my eyes.
*skips to the end of the day*
Schools finally over and I quickly grab my stuff out of my locker. I close my locker and I turn and see that boy walking towards me again so I quickly walk out of the school and Anthony soon joins my side. "You okay?" He asked grabbing my hand and I just nodded. We said bye to everyone then we went into his car. I told Anthony about the boy trying to come near me again which angered him but I calmed him down by placing my hand lightly on his face. He closed his eyes taking in the feeling of my hand on his face and I smiled at him. "Are you sure I can't come over" he whined. "She said no visitors" I say and he frowned once again. "But at least we still get to see each-other" I say with a smile lightly placing my lips on his before pulling away. He smiled and intertwined our fingers lacing his fingers in and out of mine while he drove me home.

We soon made it to my house and I gave him a quick kiss. He looked into my eyes. "I have to go" I say and he frowns, still messing with my hand. "I'll FaceTime you okay?" I say giving him a quick kiss before leaving out of the car. I walked inside to my mom making dinner so I grabbed a serving and ate before going upstairs and taking a quick shower. I got out and put on one of Anthony's hoodies and I just left my underwear on. I went and laid in bed then I called Anthony. He picked up and I propped the phone up so he would see me as I laid on my side. "The way you make me feel" he said quietly as my eyes slowly closed. A small smile formed on my lips before I let the music from the call and Anthony's voice slowly help me drift off to sleep.
