the 25th bam × reader I

prompt: reader misses her bf and can't wait to meet him again.

this takes place during the start of season 3 of the webtoon! so be aware of potential spoilers if you haven't reached that part yet.

By now, you should have been used to this distance, or, that was at least what you told yourself.

It hadn't been the first time you and Bam were separated, and how things were going as of right now, you were sure it was certainly not going to be the last as well.
He was getting stronger by the minute, with a clear goal in mind to help and avenge his master, and seeing him so concentrated was enough for you to quench the desire to see him again; while you were strong (after all, you hadn't reached the 52th floor for nothing), you surely were not on Bam's level, and you knew you never would be.
He was a prodigy and who, you were certain, the tower needed to change; you instead, were just one of the many regulars climbing it, that for some reason had the luck to be part of his group of friends -and even after years of dating, you still wondered what exactly he found in you that others like Endorsi, or any of the many female friends you had, didn't have.

Alas, while you were supportive of him and everything he chose to do, you still missed him terribly, your heart aching while you climbed the tower with Shibisu's team, in order to save your best friend's life.

You obviously had never voiced those thoughts, the fear of sounding too pretentious or egoistic eating you alive; the only thing you could do was bearing it, faking a smile when things got too difficult and focusing on anything that could stop you from thinking about your beloved.

"So, why are you here?" You almost wanted to lie, to ask what Khun meant, but you knew better; even though he had just woken up from a coma, he was still both as sharp as ever and one of your closest friends.

"You needed our help, and I would have just been a burden if I went with him anyway. He was okay with it, and we still talk every time he has free time, so don't look at me as if I abandoned him completely."

The blue haired male sighed, bringing a hand to your head as he messed up your hair, a look of both worry and fondness in his eyes.

"You're not some kind of martyr, nor some kind of tragedy protagonist, so wipe that sad expression off your face. Besides, we're going to reunite with him soon enough, and I'm sure you don't want Bam to be upset."

As the warship he was in approached yours, you could feel your heart beat faster and faster every second that passed, your hands gripping the hem of  the sweater.
Just a few minutes, and you were going to finally see Bam, you were going to hug him and stay by his side once again, like you wished to do for the longest time now.

"Khun! (Y/n)!" You realized you had been dozing off when you saw your boyfriend a couple of meters in front of you, the biggest and brightest smile on his face as he approached you two.
His hair was longer now, and the shirt he was wearing  fit him perfectly; they both made him look even more beautiful now, giving him a mature look that, while you weren't expecting it, certainly suit him.

"Bam!" You ran into his arms, placing your head on the nape of his neck as you got surrounded by his calming smell, mixed by the trace of cologne you got him some time ago.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." His words made you happier, your grip on him tightening as you focused only in him, the words and noise from outside being blurred as you kept hugging him.

He was a prodigy, and that meant that most of the time, he was busy exploring the tower and improving himself; that was also meant it was common for the two of you to be separated for long periods of times.

Someone else might have just ended it already, the long distance being too unbearable to withstand; and while she agreed to some level of it, she was also certain that the joy she felt, once she was with him again, was something greater than any other thing, and definitely worth the wait.

it's just that I have so many about both tog and tbhk ready so while I write about other anime it's easier to just upload these ones
also yeah Bam is best boy and he's SO underrated; I literally can't wait for season 2 and so on!!
