Sana

“Take a seat Jungkook, next to Sana so that we could start the briefing…” the staff said as sunbae nodded his head before taking the seat next to me.

I didn’t expect to see a familiar face here as I barely know everyone when I entered the room. The two emcee who looks like they know each other were already there but one more emcee hasn’t arrived yet.

Honestly, I didn't mind who was the late emcee at all, I have only wanted to get done with the task already. But it would be great if there is someone at least I am familiar with in the circle.

So we were instructed to wait for a while before starting the briefing about what we will do today. I really want to sigh in relief the moment that sunbae had entered the room.

Even though if I do not personally know him, at least I am familiar wit him. In that way I don’t have to be afraid to feel awkward doing the emcee thing even though I don’t have that experience really.

Since we have bumped into each other recently in such awkward situations, I don't think that I will be too timid and shy in front of him again.

Well I had the worse, especially way back then when I tripped in the stairs while going up, it was really a pretty embarrassing scene.

We immediately started the briefing as soon as everyone was settled, the staff had decided that me and Jungkook sunbae would enter after the two emcees since we are special emcees anyway.

We two would be partnered first according to the script and then we will have to change partners with the other two emcees to avoid the dead air and awkwardness, since we two are still new to being emcees.

I have nothing against it since they had already pre determined though, plus it would be less awkward that way since the two other emcees had the experience already.

The briefing ended with no objections from us, even if there are though we would end up following all their requests anyway since we are idols, we are bound to follow their rules.

“Since there no objection, Sana and Jungkook can proceed to their waiting room to change as well as the two of you Minjae and Saeron. We would expect you in twenty for the recording.” one of the staff said.

“The dress code this day is any kind of clothes as long as there is a color orange in it… Be back in the expected time as we will start at once. Dismissed.” one of the staff added.

We all nodded our heads as we got dismissed in that room, now my current problem is how would I get to our waiting room. I forgot to ask our manager about it plus my phone is not with me.

Jihyo had volunteered to bring my phone with her because I had the tendency of losing my phone when it is with me. The last I had to buy a new a phone because I miss placed my phone.

Then after a week I found my lost under the cabinet next to my bed, that’s how clumsy I am really. When I got out of the room after thanking the staffs, I seem to be lost.

Walking without direction because I do not know where to go, I don’t know where is our waiting room. I really seemed to be in deep gaze of thoughts where to go when I heard someone calling me from behind that made me look back.

“Sana-ssi you are going to the waiting right? Let’s go together…” Jungkook sunbae said while trying to catch up as he was half running to my direction.

I just scratched the back of my head while waiting for him, I really feel awkward when he calls me Sana-ssi. I mean I am older than him. I know that he is from the 97 liners as Jihyo and Mina had told me.

I mean I was born in 1996 so it makes me at least a few months older than him right? But my height tells otherwise, when I stood next to him he is like a giant next to dwarf.

“Are you sure sunbae? Your waiting room is probably far from ours…” I said as if I know where our waiting room is, as he slowed down his pace when he stood next to me like he was leading me to the waiting rooms.

“Didn’t the managers told you that we are sharing the same room? We are basically going to the same direction.” he said half smiling showing his bunny teeth like Nayeon unnie.

“I didn’t know…” I responded while slowly taking steps on walking along the corridors, I don’t want to embarrass myself because of my clumsiness.

“Just follow me, I know where exactly where our waiting room is. Our manager had informed me before hand.” he said as he lead the way.

In a few minutes we arrived at the waiting room with the names of Twice and BTS. True enough the members were scattered around the room.

Even though both groups were sharing the room there was still like a division so the things won’t get mixed up like the outfits and make ups.

But the staffs seems to not mind at all, they were casually having a conversation like close friends. And the members were like having a mini fan sign event with the sunbaes.

“Do we get a fan service too?” I heard Jin sunbae asking Na  yeon unnie who was like a shy teen age fan girl in front of the handsome sunbae.

“Wouldn’t that be awkward? I mean we held hands with our fans, can we just take a selca instead?” Nayeon unnie suggested.

“What’s happening in here?” Jungkook sunbae asked that made all the members look at our direction and made the whole room silent.

“Kill joy maknae, we are just having some kind of a fan sign here… Twice are signing their albums that we had buy and same as we are singing our albums that they had buy too.” Taehyung sunbae said like nothing.

“May I ask when exactly did you buy albums hyung and I wasn’t even informed.” sunbae and me said at the same time  as the sunbaes all looked at Taehyung sunbae while the girls look at dahyun who looks guilty as charged.

“Tsk… Stop that kids, what is the dress code Sana / Kook? The cordi unnies / noonas will prepare that..” Jihyo and Rm sunbae said at the same time, as expected of the leaders.

They are really the neutralizer of the groups. “Something with color orange…” me and sunbae said at the same time again.

“Wait is speaking at the same time a requirement nowadays?” Chaeyoung asked but was interrupted when the cordi staffs called us for our clothes to be changed.

Good thing that they had built a private changing room inside so it was not a hassle hanging into new set of clothes and thankfully we don’t get to change our clothes much. Just for the I’m gonna be star performance I supposed.

I was asked to go to the other side of the room so I can’t see what the members are currently doing because the cordi unnies are redoing my make up when I felt someone took a seat beside me.

“Maknae what are you doing here?” I said as I saw Tzuyu’s reflection in the mirror in front of me as she just shrug her shoulders at me.

“I can’t keep up with their energy unnie, I bet Mina unnie will come here soon too…” and without even a gap of a minute Mina did really came following the maknae.

“How much time did the staffs gave you to change Sana” a cordi unnie asked me while she was doing my hair into an appropriate style.

“Twenty minutes… Mina why are you here too?” I responded and asked Mina at the same time. “They are too energetic for me.” she answered.

“Well Sana you are good to go, don’t make the staffs wait that much. Jungkook-ssi should be done by now too.” cordi unnie said as I than her before getting up.

I bid goodbye to Tzuyu and Mina and that I will see them later at the recording before heading out of the waiting room as the same time as Jungkook sunbae was leaving the waiting room too.

Sorry for not able to update for nearly two weeks I guess hehe, peace... We recently moved, I mean my aunt recently moved offices so I helped them moving their stuffs from their old office to the new one...
