"Uhm, the gift Kookie? You seem to be in deep thoughts." I said when I noticed that he was not yet letting go of the gift and my hands already feel tired.

"Oh sorry..." he responded as he immediately let go of the gift as well as my hand that he accidentally held. I turned around to put the gifts in the table intended for the gifts.

We could have celebrated in the dorm but we are so busy for our opening encore that is about to happen in weeks, we mostly spend our time in practice rooms and in the company rehearsing.

That's why we choose to celebrate our maknae's birthday in the company building rather than the dorm. I was actually surprised that the sunbaes dropped by.

"So, are you going to wait for celebration, they won't take that long until they arrive." I said as we got out of the room. As I still have to bring the decorations here along with the other members.

"I'm sorry but we have to prepare for our tonight's show. I just dropped by to give the gifts, I will just probably greet her personally later." he answered.

"Oh, should I walk you to the basement parking?" I asked again as he just shake his head shyly. "I would like too but I know you guys are busy too." he said.

"As much as I want to spend time with you more, I feel like dying with the stares of the few employees around.I'll just beep you later, see you around." he added before running.

I blushed hard to what he had said as we became regular chat mates and call mates, we had often spent sleepless nights talking to each other.

Just like a friendly gestures, we became close talking to each other every night. I mean its not hard to get close to him as I am a natural talkative and he had a unique sense of humor.

We had often talk how much both groups would match with each other personalities as our groups have a lot of similarities and besides we had seem to build friendship from previous encounters.

Plus their group is very kind too so I think we get along much, I mean Nayeon unnie and Jeongyeon unnie are friends with their members. I see nothing wrong with our friendship plus our fans are friends too.

"Sana, you're here! Let's bring this to the lounge..." Nayeon unnie said as she showed me the decorations. "Mina and the others will arrive in ten, then the maknae line will arrive five minutes later after Mina and the others, we still have time to prepare." Jihyo said while looking at her phone.

"Sure, let's get that to the lounge to set it up there..." I happily said as I picked up the decorations. "Wait, what took you long? And where is sunbae?" Nayeon unnie asked me.

"He went ahead, he said they still have a show tonight. And sorry for arriving a little later, the sunbae had a few instructions about the gifts." I said as they just nodded their heads.

While we were decorating the lounge, GOT7 sunbaes with Day6 sunbaes went inside and they were shock to see the arrangements. Right, the stuffs may have forgotten to inform them not to use the artist lounge for a while.

"Uh, what's up for today with the gifts, the decorations and stuffs?" Wonpil sunbae asked. "For Tzuyu's birthday sunbae, we thought of celebrating here in the lounge. They will be here a little later." Jihyo explained.

"Oh dear, we forgot about the maknae's birthday! We need to hurry and get a gift!" Almost all of them said as they hurriedly get out of the lounge at the same time.

I just laughed at their gesture, well everyone is smitten by our maknae. Who ever dares to date her in the future will have to get through those guys first for sure.

"Tsk, guys will always be guys!" Nayeon unnie commented before continuing what she was doing. "Speaking of guys, what's with you and Jungkook?" Jihyo suddenly asked me that made my eyes widen in shock.

"Oh yeah, you may have not noticed it but we sometimes hear your late night conversations. Remember, we share the same room." Nayeon unnie added.

"Those late night calls and exchange of messages, ah brings back memories." she added while shaking her head. "Why did you have those late night calls and messages with someone before, unnie?" Jihyo asked curiously.

"Of course, with my friends.." she confidently answered. "Yeah, friends... But really Sana, what's the score?" Jihyo said as she looked at me for a while.

"Friends? Yeah, we are friends... We became friends after Tzuyu introduced us to each other." I answered as they still don't look satisfied with the answer that I gave them.

"If I didn't know that the guy is extremely shy, I would have believe that you guy are friends." Nayeon unnie said as if it was just a normal thing to say.

"Good thing Mina doesn't wake up that easily by hearing their giggles at night. I just pretend not to hear sometimes, they seem to have a thing for each other." Nayeon unnie added.

"Unnie!" I exclaimed because of what she had said. "Right, the guy definitely had his eyes on you, I just don't know about you." Jihyo said savagely.

I don't know what to say anymore and I feel so cornered by this two, I can also feel that beads of sweats are falling from my forehead and the room was suddenly filled with so much pressure.

"Uh, what's up everyone? We got the foods here!" Jeongyeon unnie said as she entered the room with Momoring and Mina. I sighed deeply and said to myself thanks God, saved by the bell.

"We bumped into GOT7 and Day6 sunbaes down the hall in the basement they seemed to be on rush. I even heard Bambam and the his gang cursing." Mina said while placing the food containers.

"Ahm, they just forgot about the maknae's birthday. They are up to buy a last minute gift. Don't mind them. Anyone told the staffs not to let the trainees in?" Jihyo said but she gave me the we are not yet done look.

Yeah, the trainees... I forgot that our old building which is the building for trainees is under construction as well as the new one so the trainees were to use the artist building that we are using.

They say that maybe next year we will transfer in there but its still along way to go. "Yes, we talk to them... Although we wanted to invite the trainees we can't since the space is limited. But we made sure to have some of our staffs to hand them snacks."

Momoring said while checking her own phone. "The maknaes are almost here. Jaebum sunbae said they are on the way too, so I told them to hurry up while Cheang and Dubu are still distracting Tzuyu." Jihyo said.

"Well let's get this done before they arrive." Jeongyeon responded as we all nodded our heads to finish our tasks. "We still have to talk later, tell us the whole story. Don't worry Jihyo is not mad but just protective."

Nayeon unnie whispered in my ears when she passed by my side as I just simply nodded my head to answer her. I honestly don't want Jihyo to get mad so I was afraid.
