"Sana!" I shouted as I approached her as soon as possible. The Chou family men were assigned to immobilize Jae In. I know the plan earlier, if she doesn't cooperate then we have no choice to shoot her with a tranquilizer with an immediate effect to put her into sleep.

"This.." she said in a low voice as she tried to reach a certain part in her chest. "Blood..." she uttered as she began coughing which made me scared. Jae In falls behind her as a gun was released from her grip that made me stunned for a while.

My heart stopped as I watch the blood flowed out from the fresh wound made by that gunshot. Jae In must have hidden that gun inside her jacket earlier and made sure that it was out of sight from anyone.

She must have placed it in between her and Sana while she was grabbing her hair. She had a weapon and we didn't know! She had a weapon in her and we didn't do anything! She had a gun in her but we let her pull the trigger!

I seem to be a good-for-nothing boyfriend, I can't even protect my girlfriend from my ex. I couldn't even do anything, so useless! I could have to do something and prevent any of this from happening.

I immediately pulled back my senses and I quickly approached Sana and took off the ropes that bind her in that chair. I supported her body in my arms as she tried to drift into unconsciousness

"Hang in there, please don't close your eyes just yet!" I said as I touched her face with blood that was flowing out of her mouth. I am shaking from nervousness, I thought everything was going according to our plan.

"I thought that she had nothing else in her to harm her! Call the men, we need to bring Sana to the hospital! She was shot!" I said to Tzuyu's older brother who was still shocked on the side. He clearly didn't expect that this would happen.

He went to his senses after hearing my voice.  And he immediately took his communication device to contact their people around. "The rescue team is on their way to this room. Take her to them, I will take care of this woman."

He said as he pointed to Jae In, I simply nodded my head before carrying Sana in my arms and running towards the door out of this room. True to his words, the medical and rescue team were approaching us already.

They took Sana from my arms and transferred her into a stretcher. "She was shot by a gun, I don't know if the bullet hit any internal organ... Please save her..." I said as they nodded their heads.

"We need to rush her to the ambulance, rest assured we will do our best to save her." one of them responded while the others tend to Sana as we are rushing towards the ambulance waiting on stand-by.

After getting in the ambulance, the doctor was doing her best to stop the bleeding and remove the bullet while we are rushing to the hospital. Meanwhile, I was just there holding Sana's hand praying for her safety.

"Quickly! We need to see if there are any internal organs affected by the bullet wound! We need the patient to undergo an x-ray!" the doctor said to the driver while we are still rushing on the way.

The sound of the siren is ringing in my ear which makes me even feel more nervous as I held Sana's hand. She was already unconscious when we boarded the ambulance. I am not sure if she lost consciousness after I took off the rope from her or before.

'Please keep her safe God. I don't know what I'd do if I lose the girl I love.' I prayed as I watch the doctor with us tend to Sana Tzuyu will definitely kill me if she knew her unnie was injured because of me.

"She's losing so much blood! We need to hurry!" the doctor once again said that made me even more worried. I didn't know that Jae In was keeping a gun in her earlier. All I thought was that her only weapon was that knife.

I was hurt seeing all the wounds that the knife had made in Sana, but seeing her in this situation kills me more. I thought that the plan was all smooth going. We had come to the conclusion that minor injuries might be present.

But I never expected the situation to turn out like this. We had thought that Tzuyu having a mild concussion was already the worst scenario. After quite some time, we had finally arrived at the hospital.

I figure out that Tzuyu must be admitted to this hospital too. Since my parents were there waiting for me at the emergency room. Tzuyu's brother might have informed them ahead of that we will be rushing over.

The doctors and staff we were with immediately rushed Sana into the emergency room, while I was stopped in the doorway. I shuffled my hair out of frustration. I should have not let the two of them wander around.

I should have gone with them at least. If it wasn't for me, maybe none of this could ever happen. "don't blame yourself, she's going to be fine... Your uncle made sure that both of them will be tended with utmost care." my mother told me while lightly tapping my back.

"I hope so... How's Tzuyu doing?" I asked while my focus was still on the door of the emergency room. "She's alright, aside from mild concussion hopefully there were no other injuries. She'll be awake anytime soon." my father responded.

I nodded my head as a sign of acknowledgment. I was about to brush my hair out of frustration once more when my phone buzzed from my pocket. It was Tzuyu's older brother calling me.

"Hey, the girl in here... How do you plan on dealing with her?" he asked from the other line. "Just let the authorities deal with her. Also, I will be filling a restriction order against her and attempted murder." I said as I took a few steps away from my parents.

"Anything else to take care of? I still got to check on my sister you know?" he asked as I thought of it for a while. "Oh, help me mask whatever happened today away from any source of media." I added.

As much as possible, I don't want any news of what had happened today to get in the way of the media. They prey on our private lives that much to the extent that I find it too disturbing.

"On it... Anything else? IS that all you wanted me to do?" he asked once again. "Yeah, for now, that would be all. Make sure that those who were involved today will have to pay up for their deeds." I reminded him.

"Of course, I ought to do that! Tsk, I never even let a single insect bite my precious little sister yet they dare give her a mild concussion! They are asking for death!" he said as he finally ended the call.

"Just make sure you do... My love is currently fighting for her life because of them." I whispered to myself as I turned back towards the direction of the emergency room when I was faced with a hard slap on my face.

My head shifted to the side because of the impact of the slap. When I turned to look at the person in front of me who slapped me, I saw Jihyo with a surge of anger in her eyes. She seemed to be so much disappointed.
