Sam
Tyler still wasn't back and I guess I could honestly say I understand. He can't handle being in a place his grandmother is bound to die at but understanding doesn't mean that I don't miss him. I kind of wish he would come back. I had a surprise for him.
At first, the residents were skeptical about my plan and some were extremely selfish but eventually the majority of the group decide to help me and I was thrilled. Three days have passed since they've agreed and we have made some progress. Not as much as I would've liked but it was coming along.
"Hey Sam." Ashely called as she walked by.
"Hey." I said not taking my eyes off my work.
"You're still here? It's already past your shift time."
"Oh." I blinked as I looked at the clock. "I hadn't noticed."
"Yeah, I bet you haven't. You've been working on this nonstop almost all week."
I nodded. "yeah, I have. I just want this to get done in time."
"I know you do Sam, I know you do."
