Chapter 14

HAYILAH

NAGISING ako na wala ng mabigat na bagay sa tiyan ko. Sinubukan kong umupo sa kama, my body aches. At, unti-unti ng bumalik ang mga ala-ala mula kagabi. Yeah, right. I just told him that i love him and that brute stayed up all night and make me moan.

No wonder why my whole body aches.

Tumayo ako mula sa kama at pumasok sa banyo. I did my morning routines and fixed myself. Nang makalabas ako ng banyo ay naghanap ako ng komportableng damit. Halos mamula ang mga pisngi ko nang makita ko ang mga damit na punit-punit dahil kagabi. I picked up my undergarments. Lagot sa akin ang lalaking 'yon, he can took it off and not ripping it into half.

It's damn Victoria's secret. De puta, papagbayarin ko 'yon.

After that i get out of the room. Nasaan na kaya ang asawa ko? May narinig akong mga boses mula sa sala. May boses ng babae. Nagtungo ako sa lugar na 'yon.

It's Rosh and he is with... i don't know who the girl is. She have this sophisticated look, even she is just wearing a simple summer dress. I wonder who she is.

"-- edi kailan ka babalik sa Manila? I heard that your family runs a business there."

The girl sighed, "Hindi ko sure. Ayaw kong bumalik doon. Mas gusto ko dito sa Batangas mas refreshing tapos tahimik lang, unlike sa Manila na sobrang ingay."

Rosh chuckled, "Lagot ka kay tito."

"Whatever," the girl replied. "By the way, nasaan ang asawa mo? I want to meet her. Who's the lucky gal na nagpainlove sa best friend ko?"

Sinipat ni Rosh ang relos niya, "Dapat gising na siya sa mga oras na 'to. She must be exhausted."

I cleared my throat. "Good morning, Rosh!" Masiglang bati ko sa kaniya.

"Baby!" He exclaimed and ran into my direction. He give me a peck in the lips, "morning."

I smiled at him, "by the looks of your smile. You look happy."

"Well," he paused. "The woman I loved, love me too. Why wouldn't i?"

"I love you," saad ko sa kaniya.

He keeps still. Parang nawala ang hininga nito ng ilang segundo at bumalik ulit. "Fuck. Kailan kaya ako masasanay."

I chuckled, "i'm your wife, might as well live with it."

"I will," he replied. "And, this is my friend, Sharon. She is my childhood friend here at Batangas."

The girl named Sharon lend her hand, "hi, Alliyah? If, i am not mistaken?"

"Hayilah," i corrected her.

"Sorry, my bad," she said.

"So, Sharon," I started. "Let's eat breakfast." Aya ako.

"Baby," Rosh whispered in my ear.

"Hmm?"

"It's already noon. It's past 12," he informed me.

Ngumiwi ako, "sorry, akala ko maaga pa." I said with a low voice. "Tara na, magtanghalian na tayo."

"Sure!" Sharon exclaimed.

"I'll ask manang kung may tanghalian na ba tayo," saad ni Rosh. "You two get along."

I nodded. Umupo kaming dalawa ni Sharon sa couch. There's an awkward silence with the both of us. Should i make the first move to talk or nah?

"So..."she started, "saan kayo nagkita?"

"Huh?"

"Saan kayo unang nagkita? Gusto ko ng kwentong forever," she giggled.
