Stronger Than You Think

Chapter 30: 5 years later

I stare down at the two beautiful beings that are in my arms and I can't help but smile. Ruby and Willow. My baby girls.

Willows blue eyes glisten as she rubs them and lets out a little yawn. Eden reckons she'll grow up and look like me. I smile at the thought.

Ruby looks like him though. Even if she did get my red hair. She has his eyes. Eden walks into the nursery and loosens his tie.

He got a job as a lawyer and we bought a huge two story house after he proposed to me at graduation. My parents came an you should have seen Madlins face.

Andrea and Thomas have three beautiful seven month old triplets. Two girls and a boy. Diesel is the oldest by a few minutes and she's the biggest. Yes she. Bane is next and then Celeste.

Kendall and Cara fell pregnant and had their kids a year after grad. Kendall and Ty had a girl and they called her Kialeigha.

Cara and Skyler had a little girl a couple months after Ty and Kendall did an they called her Savannah. Kialeigha and Savannah are both three. THREE!

What's strange is Olive had a little boy a couple months after graduation. Her and Lex called him Cody. He's four. And last year in February they had a little girl, Violet, who's two now.

Elinor and Levi have been together for 5 years and I think he's planning on proposing. Eda and Elijah had a little girl 6 weeks ago. Little Abbey is the cutest thing.

Tanika has left Ohio and now lives in Boston where she attends Boston University. She has a boyfriend, whom she has been with for three years and has sent me an email stating that she's pregnant and hasn't told Rowan. Pretty exciting shit.

Eden sits down next to me and kisses my cheek before he takes Willow from me. She opens her widens her big blue eyes and lets out a gurgling sound before smiling.

"DID YOU SEE THAT?!" Eden shouts and jumps up. "Our babies first smile!". he spins Willow and she gurgles again. I laugh at the sight of the two and look back down at my little red head.

Her big brown eyes are open and she's looking at me. I smile at her and then look back at the two in front of me. Life is the way it was supposed to be.

I sit on the couch after putting the twins to bed and the door slams open. There stands Elinor. Her blonde and blue hair flying in the wind and she has the biggest smile in her face.

"HE PROPOSED!" she screams and thrusts her fingers in front of me. I look down at the ring. It has four small diamonds, two on each side and then there's one big one in the middle.

"For every year we've been together" a voice says from behind Elinor and Levi steps out to the side. His blonde hair tussled, his green eyes shining. I smile and Eden wraps his arms around my waist.

Cars pull up in the driveway and tiny footsteps pad along the ground. "Aunty Iris" a little girl screams and Savannah lunges into my arms.

"I'll go get the twins" Eden whispers into my ear and I nod. They're screaming. Too much noise. Everyone walks through the door and looks from Elinor to Levi to the ring on El's finger and all the girls start screaming.

Eden brings in the twins and give me Willow. I dry her little eyes and she smiles at me. I smile back. The screaming dies down around us and all I can feel is the presence of Eden and my other baby next to me. And the little bundle that I hold in my arms.

To be number one you have to be odd.

I'm odd and right now I feel like I'm on top of the world.
