Stronger Than You Think

Chapter 10: Another Appearance

I open my eyes and find myself staring into someone else's. Deep hazel with green flecks. I know those eyes all too well.

"You have the most beautiful eyes" Eden says as he stares at me intently. "Like the ocean. Deep and clear", I laugh at his cheesiness. "I like yours too" I say.

Before I know it Andrea is ripping me out of his arms and slapping him across the face. "FOR FUCK'S SAKE EDEN" she yells at him a little too loudly. "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE HER ALONE!!".

I laugh at them and look around the pool to try and spot the others. I spy Zelda in a corner of the pool having a make out session with Newt.

"Get a room!" I yell to them and Zel jumps off him. She looks around and I wave at her. She scrowls at me and flips me the bird before continuing to eat the poor boys face off.

I spy Eda, Olive and Cara near the slides. Andrea is still having a go at Eden so I climb out of the pool and start to walk over.

"Iris wait" I hear Andy call out and I stop and turn around. She gives Eden a stern look and climbs out.

When she turns her back Eden blows me a kiss and I pretend to catch it. "What was that all about?" I ask her as we walk to the other side of the pool.

"Don't play coy with me Iris Lavender Finnigan. You know exactly what it was about". I smile and then pause, "No seriously though. What was it about?" I ask.

"Don't tell me you don't know" Andy says and turns to face me, cocking a hip and putting a hand on it.

"Don't know what? I am so confused" I say and look at her fixedly. "HE LIKES YOU!!" Andy yells and heads turn. Including Eden's. he winks at me.

"I knew that" I say and smirk. "I just needed reassurance. And seeing as his your brother and you know most about him then what better way to find out" I say.

I shrug my shoulders at her and bomb-dive into the pool right next to Ed and Liv. I grab Ed's leg and pop up behind her slamming my hands down on her shoulders.

"SHIT!!" she screams and Olive laughs. When Eda recovers from her trauma she turns to me and points her finger at me. Her mouth open but no words are coming out.

"Hey guys so it's mine an Elijah's birthday next week and mum says that we can have a party" Cara says.

At the mention of Elijah's name Eda whips her head around. "Elijah. Where?" she asks as her hazel eyes widen.

"He's not here you retard" Andy says "Cara was talking about her party next week". "Oh" Eda says and blushes.

I look at her and smirk. "Soo?" Olive asks "What are you gonna do?". "Ummm.. Well Elijah's taking his mates out somewhere-"
Cara gets cut off by Andrea.

"Whom may I ask?" she says and raises an eyebrow. "Well.. Ty, Newt, Skyler, Thomas, Lex and possibly Eden if he'll go" Cara says.

"If I'll go where now?" a voice asks behind me and arms wrap around my waist. Well I wouldn't call it a waist.. I'm slim but my waist is pretty straight.

I turn my head around and see Eden. "GET LOST ASSHOLE" Andrea yells at him. "No" I say and lean back into his bare chest. Andy scrowls, whilst Cara and the others smile.

"Would you like to go to Elijah's party" Cara says and I look up at Eden. "Sure. Why not" he says and I smile. "Good I'll tell him" Cara says.

"I'm inviting all you UTS and Kendall", "COOL" Eda says and her and the others climb out of the pool to go on the slide.

I turn around in Eden's arms and look up at him. "So?" I say "How's Madlin doing?". He groans and shakes his head. "RISSY!" I hear a baby voice call behind me. I whip around and see Seth standing at the edge of the pool.

"RISSY!" he calls again. "SETH!" I yell "Move back I'll come to you!". Eden lets me go and I swim to the end of the pool.

"Hey" I say and climb out. "What are you doing?". I pick him up and go to our table, grabbing my cap an sticking it on my head. If Seth's here then the rest of my family is too.

Sure enough I spot them two tables away from our own. I walk over to them and put Seth down. Taking stuff out of his bag I look at my parents. "I'm going to get Seth changed and take him into the pool" I say and pick him up.

"Whatever" my Father, Chad, says. "Can I go to Cara's party next week?" I ask and they both nod and I walk down to the change rooms.

When I get back I throw my hat down with Andreas parents and head off to the pool, I see Madlin already at Eden's side. He spots me and peels her fingers off his arm and swims to me.

He climbs out and puts one arm around my waist while the other one tickles Seth. He giggles. I look back at the pool and see Madi glaring at me with her mouth open. I roll my eyes and we walk off.

I see that Zel has left Newt and is climbing up the ladder into the big tunnel slide. I look down at the bottom and see Caras skinny body fall out the end.

"UP! UP!" Seth squeals in my ear pointing to the top of the three meter tall slide. "You wanna go in the slide?" I ask and he nods.

I carry him up and sit him in front of me. Eden sits behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. I do the same to Seth.

Eden pulls one arm away from me and pushes us off. Seth squealing all the way I wrap my arms tighter around him and feel that Eden does the same to me before we hit the water with a splash.
