Chapter 8: A Late Night Swim With David

(Y/N's P.O.V)

A week had gone by. It was another day of filming. Today, we're going to film the scene for The World Will Know and a few other scenes. David told me to meet him at the pool at the hotel tonight at 10:30 after we got back from dinner. I wonder what he has planned. He better not prank me because he is known to do that. The day went by fast. Dinner with the guys was fun, except Trey wasn't there. He told me he had a date with a girl or something. I rode with Dominic back to the hotel. It was good to talk to him after he gave me the silent treatment for a week. He told me he was sorry for ignoring me and understood that I can't control who I love. Once we arrived at the hotel, I headed to my room. It was only 10:00 pm. I had a while to get ready. I watched a bit of tv and then I got into a white bikini with black polka dots. I put a t-shirt and shorts on over it. Next, I put on my flip flops. After that, I put my hair up in a high bun. I was ready to meet David. I took the elevator down to the lobby and followed the signs to the pool. I walked outside to hear L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole coming from a boombox. I saw David sitting on a pool chair with two plastic cups in one hand and a bottle of sparkling grape juice in another hand. He was in swim trunks and was shirtless. Good Lord he had a good bod. Not as good as Aaron's, but pretty damn good.

"Hey, Davey. I can't believe you planned this," I said.
"I only did it for you, beautiful," he said as I took off my shirt and shorts to reveal my white bikini with black polka dots.

I noticed him staring at me. Do I really have that good of a body?

"My eyes are up here, Moscow," I said.
"Sorry. It's just that your bikini looks sexy on you," he said while blushing.
"You don't look too bad yourself. So, are we swimming or what," I asked.
"Let's swim," David answered before putting the cups and bottle down.

David picked me up and threw me into the pool. He's going to get it.

"You are so getting it, David," I said as he jumped in the pool.
"You've got to catch me first," he said while swimming away from me.

I caught up with him and dunked him in the water. When he came back up, he pulled me close and kissed me. One kiss turned to another. Soon, we had to part for air.

"Why don't we dry off a bit and talk," David suggested.
"That sounds nice," I said before we swam to the steps and and walked over to our stuff.
"So, you never told the guys and me about your date with Christian. How did it go," David asked.
"Well, Christian took me to dinner. Then, we got ice cream and went to an arcade. I think this tops it though. This is really romantic. I mean, night swimming is fun and the love songs are amazing," I replied.
"I'm glad you like it, Y/N," David said.
"We probably shouldn't let that sparkling grape juice go to waste," I said.
"You're always thinking about food or something related to food," David said with a laugh.
"So? Food is my true love, Dave," I said as he poured the drink into the two cups.
"Food is good," he said while handing me a cup.
"Not as good as you," I said while taking a drink.
"You're too kind, beautiful," David said.
"You're too good for me. I mean, you treat me like I'm a princess," I said.
"I do that because you deserve to be. No guy should treat you any other way," David said.
"You're right, Davey," I told him.

Once we finished our drinks, we swam and goofed off for a couple of hours. We dried off and David walked me up to my room.

"That was really a fun and romantic night. Thank you, Davey," I said before kissing him.
"You're welcome, Y/N. I'm glad you enjoyed it," he said as he leaned in to kiss me.
"Good night, David," I told him.
"Good night, beautiful," he said before kissing my forehead and leaving.

I walked into my room and took a quick shower. I think I should choose between Christian or David soon. I'm just scared of letting one of them down. After putting on my pajamas, I headed to bed.

A/N: I feel like this is another filler chapter. Sadly, this book will be ending soon. On the bright side, I have a Christian Bale x OC in the works so stay tuned for that.
