3 YEARS LATER
“Sinokuhle stop it!” I shouted in frustration
“hey let my daughter be. She’s only playing” her father said picking her up
I huffed “and I am trying to work” I said clicking on my laptop
“don’t mind your mother, she’s just stressed that’s all” he said comforting her with a kiss on her forehead
“I’m sorry mommy” she said with her tiny innocent voice
I looked up at her and she had those cute puppy eyes looking at me with her head resting on her father’s chest. How could I stay angry at that pretty face though? I stood up and made my way to her and her father
“it’s ok. mommy is sorry for yelling ok” I said kissing her tiny pouted lips “mommy is sorry for shouting” she nodded
“what do you feel like eating Mrs Me?” he asked wrapping his free arm around my neck
“Shwarma from KGC” I said with a smiley face, he frowned “it’s your son not me” I said touching my little bump
“everything is my son’s fault. Yoh hayi this is not fair” he complained pulling me to plant a kiss on my head
“please” I pleaded
He huffed “fine. What else?”
“maybe hot wings from KFC and mixed berries Krush juice” I said pouting
“ok fine. Let’s go my angel” he said after kissing me.
I went back to my desk and just looked at my computer screen and admired my beautiful family. After all the drama we went through, I’m happy to say I was pregnant with a baby boy.
My phone rang as I was still lost in my thoughts, I looked at the screen and it was my mother in law, Mamu’Namhla.
“Mama” I said
“hey Koti how are you?” she asked
I sighed “I’m ok ma, just a little tired that’s all”
She took a deep breath, I knew then and there that a lecture was coming my way “Majola I told you to stop overworking. You 7 months pregnant already”
“Mah I’ll go insane if I stop working. Work is the only thing keeping me sane right now” I argued
“You need to rest or do you want me to come and live with you guys until you give birth?” she asked with a very stern voice
In my head I was screaming ‘NO!’ but I couldn’t “mom that won’t be necessary, I’m working on a report that’s all” I assured
She sighed in relief “that had better be all you working on or else I will call my son to confirm”
I chuckled “he’s not even here mom relax. Why would I lie to you?”
“who knows? Cause you don’t want me invading yours and my son’s privacy” she said
I giggled “oh mom come on”
“hayi don’t come on me. I know what you and that son of mine do behind closed doors, I just hope my granddaughter is not exposed to it” I literally clasped my mouth in embarrassment
“mama!”
“don’t mama me. I know, the hickies are enough proof” she said laughing
I was so embarrassed I couldn’t even defend myself even if I wanted to. My mother in law was a little extra at times.
“MOM please stop” I scolded laughing “please”
She laughed “hayi its fine. You old enough, I was calling to talk to that son of mine but since you saying he left I’ll call later”
“try his cell again” I said
“I wish, he hasn’t been answering any of my calls, I’m guessing he left it in the room” I said getting up to go upstairs
“I will call again later Majola, take care of my son and grandkids”
“of cause ma. Greet dad for me and take care” I said walking into our room
“bye Koti” she said before dropping the call
I looked around and I found his phone on the pedestal, he had over 15 missed calls. 5 from his mother and the rest were from an unknown number, it rang while in my hand
“Hello?” I said
The person kept quiet
“hello? This is Mrs Mbana speaking” I said
“where is Sniper?” a bold scary voice demanded
“I’m sorry who is this?” I asked looking at the phone again before returning it to my ear
“give Sniper the phone” the man said
“who am I talking to?” I asked annoyed
“lady tell your husband to call me” he said before dropping the call
What just happened? Who was it that I just spoke to? his phone rang again and this time it was a blocked number. I answered it
“Sniper get your ass here now! we have a problem” a voice said sounding angry and agitated
“dad?” I said in shock
“Ayola? Where is Lwando?” he asked
“dad what is going on? Lwando stopped working for you like that” I said with confusion. He took a deep breath
“dad what is going on? Lwando quit working for The $pritz 2 years ago”
“Angel listen..” he said with panic
I shook my head in disbelief, my husband would never lie to me, not in a million years. We met again after that day when he bought me the real morning after and he told me everything. like how he was the mastermind behind most heists, bank robberies, car robberies and a whole lot more. Dad trusted him to find ways to sneak into the places and not get caught. I never knew my husband studied architecture and was able to design banks or companies and stuff, he told me about how he had blue prints to other places I did not even know existed or he had a hand in building. I knew then and there that Lwando was not the man I thought I knew. Dad did not want him to quit but eventually for me and my kid’s safety he did or so I thought
“Lwando left The $pritz. He is no longer Sniper” I argued
“Angel I will let you and your husband talk about this when he gets back” he said
“so he’s been lying to me this whole time?” I asked with my heart at the bottom of my stomach from all the shock
“I’m sorry my angel. Just tell him to get back to me ok” he said before dropping the call
I stood there with his phone in my hand trying to process everything. I unlocked his phone and I couldn’t find anything suspicious. I made my way downstairs to the garage, there’s a car he’s been working on when he gets back from work that’s sitting in our garage. I got there and started looking, I don’t know what I was looking for but I was going to know when I found it. I found a key and then looked for where it could possibly fit but I couldn’t find a door. I looked under the car and saw something like a latch under the car. I took the car key from the wall and went to move the car back and there it was, a whole that could fit the key I found. I opened it and pulled it open and there were stairs leading down. I went down into what looked like a basement, I switched on my phone’s flash light and found the light for the room and there it was, there were blueprints on a table and drawing tools, there was some stuff that looked like plans for cars and how to assemble and dissemble different kinds of cars, bank plans, jewellery store blueprints, a mall’s blueprint. This whole time I had my hand clasping my mouth shook by the discovery I had made. I started searching the cupboards and I found different kinds of guns, big, small, riffles and ak47’s just a lot of guns with bullet proof vests and grenades and plans on how to build to build certain kinds of bombs. I stood in the middle of the room and there was just too much. there were pictures of most wanted criminals, he had 3 laptops and 4 monitors, 1 for our whole house (inside and out), 1 for his parents’ house, 1 for my parents’ house and one for what looked like the city of Durban. What did Lwando need all of this for? Where did he even get the time for all of this? he is always at work and after work he is always with me.
“Majola” he shouted from probably inside the house
I switched the light off and then got out of the basement. Our yard was designed in such a way that we had different garages, one was not connected to the house and it had two doors, one in front and one leading to our back yard while the main garage only had one way out. I always wondered why our house was designed the way it was until then. I got out and returned the car and everything else back to it place
“Majola” he shouted walking in
“hey you back” I said kissing him
He nodded “yeah, what are you doing here?”
I took a hammer “I was here to fetch this, I want to remove that picture in the lounge and put it in the hallway. I saw a prettier one yesterday at the mall” I said walking towards the house
“let me handle it. you should be resting” he said taking the hammer from my hand. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him “pregnancy looks good on you”
I smiled faintly “thank you. where’s my baby?”
“she’s sleeping. We have these few hours to ourselves before she wakes up” he said kissing my neck
We were now in the kitchen and I was leaning on the counter with him standing in front of me “my father said to call him back and also another man with a deep voice told you to call him back” I said that pushing him out of my way to walk out.
"Mamakhe I can explain" he said pulling my arm
I yanked it "don't you dare Fucking touch me! You're a liar!" I shouted pointing at him with my index finger
He swallowed hard "Majola I'm sorry. Please just let me explain" he pleaded taking my hand into his
My phone rang in my hand and it was my father. He looked at me and I looked at him before yanking my hand and walking out answering dad's call
"Father" I answered coldly
"Ayola, where is your husband?" He demanded with a firm voice
I looked at Lwando who was standing behind me like a lost puppy "he's here" I said giving my husband my phone
"Mr Majola" he said looking tense "I just got home, my phone is in our room" he shut his eyes for a minute before opening them again "I understand that and I will get back to him now" he said. He nodded before dropping the call, I was sitting on the couch watching TV but also watching him. He placed my phone on the table and kneeled in front of me "Mrs Mbana" he said, I looked at him and then back at the TV "Mrs me please" he pleaded
"Just go Lwando! And die while you at it!" I said getting up from the couch pushing him out of my way. I walked up the stairs with him behind me, he grabbed my arm as I was about to open the door to Sino’s room
“Please Ayola. Please just hear me out” he begged
“Lwando I just want to be with my daughter right now” I said in distress
My little Kuhle had this thing about her that brought me at peace, just the sight of her was enough to melt my heart in a way I never thought any human being would.
“cant we atleast talk about this?” he asked with pleading eyes
“whats there to talk about?” I asked calmly “that you’ve been lying to me all these years?”
He pulled me towards our room and his phone was ringing. He didn’t know whether to answer it or attend to me and really I was waiting on him to make an important decision at that moment. He sighed “Majola I understand you mad”
I chuckled in disbelief “mad?”
“pissed even. But Ayola there is no way out of this life, I can only leave it in a coffin my love. Please just let me do this” he begged
His phone wouldn’t stop ringing and honestly it was annoying the daylights out of me “answer your damn phone” I said gritting my teeth
“only if you wont leave me as soon as I walk out of that door” he said sternly I shot him a look “I rather have you annoyed by my ringing phone than to leave you in the state you’re in” I looked at him “Please Kitten” he pleaded looking like he was about to cry
“just answer your damn phone already” I said pulling my hands away from his. he shot me a smile and I shot him a death stare before walking to the bathroom.
I got inside the shower and just stood there processing everything that had just happened, how was I so blind? Or did he hide it so well that I couldn’t even notice any difference? I felt his hands wrap around my naked body with his bulge pocking my ass, I didn’t want him in that way but when kitten wants some, she wants some and she don’t care how mad I may be at my pleasurer, she just has to have him qah ke.
“I’m sorry Mrs Me” he said massaging my boobs. I didn’t respond. He kissed my neck slowly and then bit it “I promise to tell you the whole truth from here onwards” he said that with his other hand tracing its way to my nookie. Lwando and his magical hands! “I will never lie to you again” he said every word with a nibble on my neck, a squeeze on my boobs and his finger circling my clit. I let out an involuntary moan “does that mean you forgive me?” he asked with a bit of enthusiasm in his voice. I shook my head “cat got your tongue kitten” he asked pushing a finger between my folds, I let out a muffled moan “talk to me my Angel. We made vows to communicate at all times remember”
“Lwando” I whimpered powerlessly at his mercy. He knew my body all too well, his touch was my weakness and he knew it.
“what is it my Angel?” he asked pushing a finger inside while rubbing my clit with his thumb
“Please” I begged as I could feel an orgasm. Knowing my husband he would let me build up enough orgasms until he gets the response that satisfies him
“communicate with me Ayola” he demanded while massaging my boobs and sucking on my neck “tell me what you want. Tell me that you forgive me”
I shook my head. Sex was not going to make me forgive him for lying to me. the thing about being lied to is that you remain an idiot while he lives his life like he did nothing wrong. lies result to trust issues that were never there in the first place. Lies make you question yourself and the person you married.
“speak Ayola” he roared rubbing my clit faster building up yet another orgasm. This was a second one which he was denying me. When he felt my walls clench up he would pull his finger out and suck on
“Lwando please just let me cum” I begged
“not until you answer me Ayola” he said shoving his finger inside of me yet again “we can do this all night, I’m in no rush” he said moving his finger in and out of me slowly “talk to me my Angel”
For a second I thought I had lost my voice until I couldn’t take it anymore. I needed to release and this man was not letting me “I forgive you” the words rolled out of my tongue unintentional with tears rolling down my eyes. being denied an orgasm is painful.
He flipped me over to face him and I slapped him so hard. He let out a chuckle before smashing his lips onto mine. I was so mad at him I didn’t even want him but my vagina had a mind of its own. he kissed me until I responded, he wrapped my leg around his waist and pushing me against the walls before slamming into me without warning, I dug my nails onto his back
“I’m sorry my Angel” he said in between our steamy kiss “I’m sorry” he said again while thrusting in slowly and deeper taking me to a world that only he and I exist. At that moment I even forgot I was 7 months pregnant. Lucky me I wasn’t an elephant. Yes I was thick but my bump was cute and round and not refraining me from such sex positions “cum with me my Angel” he demanded as he nibbled on my boobs. I came and then he picked me up and took me to our room leaving the water running. He placed me on the bed and went in again until we both came, he flipped me over and hit doggy style making me scream his name multiple times before he could let us orgasm together. By the time we were done I could barely move my legs let alone feel them. My vagina was on fire, if I didn’t give birth tonight then I don’t know myself. I was so drained I could barely sit up. he picked me up and placed me inside the covers
“this is to make sure you don’t leave me” he said before kissing my forehead
“fuck you!” I said agitated. The guy was too damn corky and it was so fucking sexy I hated it!
After some time he walked in with a tray with my food and everything I had requested and placed it on the pedestal next to me
“here is your food.” He said before planting a kiss on my parted lips. He walked to the closet and came back wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt with white sneakers and my gown in his hand, he helped me wear it “you only wearing this because I’m bringing Okuhle to sleep with you and also because theres a guy downstairs here to make sure you safe” he said after tying my robe.
I just looked at him and didn’t say anything “sulk all you want. I love you and I will never let you leave me Ayola” he said before walking out
How did I end up with someone like that again? He walked in after a while carrying our little princess who had her stuffed teddybear tightly secured under her arm sleeping peacefully. He placed her inside the covers.
“I’ll be back later ok” he said after kissing his princess. He walked to me and kissed my forehead “rest ok!” he said turning on his heels “I love you Ayola ok?” I nodded “do we need to go again for you to talk?”
“I love you too Lwando” I said rolling my eyes. he walked back to me with a smirk, he kissed my lips making me respond before leaving me.
I sighed. WOW the monster I married shame! Despite everything I loved him so damn much. One thing about Lwando’s OCD was that it came in handy most times because I knew that if I was lazy to do anything around the house he would make sure everything was done while I just sit and relax. As for his bipolar episodes, I think I mostly every experienced them during sex and every now and then when we argued but despite it all he was an amazing husband and father to our daughter. Lwando was very possessive of me and he went to whatever measure to make sure that I was comfortable and happy. No guy ever came close to me when I was out, I had a bodyguard and on top of that he kept tabs on me to an extent that he knew my every move. I’ve tried a thousand times ditching his bodyguard but he would always end up knowing what I got up to in the absence of the bodyguard. I was his prisoner in a way but I never felt like it.
I started eating my food and soon after I woke my little one up to eat and when she was done I put her back to sleep and then headed out, I wore sweatpants and a pjay top because we had a guest outside my door. I got to the stairs and I felt dizzy so I held onto the rail.
“Mrs Mbana” the guard said walking up the stairs, more like running
I handed him the tray “I’m fine ok” I said hoping to dismiss him
“Mrs Mbana you not ok” he said holding my arm
“I’m fine ok. I just feel a little light headed that’s all” I said holding on to the rail. I breathed in and put slowly. Lwando really did a number on me ey.
“I’m taking you to the hospital” he said
“Linda that wont be necessary” I argued “your boss fucked me to the point of my legs not functioning proper that’s all” I said, I looked at him and he felt a little embarrassed by what I had just said “just help me to my room”
He nodded helping me walk to my room, he never entered my room and knowing him, he was not going to start today. he stood by the door and let go of me, I tried to stand and at least I could carry my weight. I walked towards the bed and when I looked up it looked really far and everything suddenly looked blurry, I blinked a couple of times before my legs failed me dismally. I fell to the floor and it was lights out
