I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, I internally groan as I reach for my phone. I slide my finger over the screen when I realize it is Amanda.

"Hello," I whisper with my groggy morning voice.

"Oh my gosh," Amanda squeals.

"What happened," I ask a little bit irritated that Amanda woke me up at nine in the morning.

"Two really hot British guys, or at least I think they're British, just moved into the apartment next to mine," Mands says happily. I don't understand, what does this have to do with me. Is this really what she woke me up for?

"Okay...and," I ask.

"One of them is all mysterious, the other one is really cute and they're foreign, we have to befriend them, Soph... It'd be really cool. Maybe I can hook up with one of them," Amanda suggests.

"Amanda Rose Young, you cannot just hook up with your new neighbor," I scold at her.

"Aww, why not? I kind of like the cute one with the curly hair. I call dibs on that one, you can have the other mysterious blonde, that one is all yours, Soph."

"No one is calling dibs on anyone, Amanda. You can't just call "dibs" on people, and you can't do your neighbors either," I reply to her.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'm not doing anything today if you want to come over again," she hints at me.

"I'll think about it, but right now I'm going back to bed. Bye." I hang up pretty quickly after she says goodbye. I'm

What is wrong with her, you can't call dibs on people; guys are not objects. So what if they are British anyways, that does not make them anymore special than any other guy. It kind of does since they are not American, but why would I contradict myself in my own thoughts. What if they are really attractive... they probably are not. Amanda is known to overreact, so I do not work myself up too much. I am not sure if it is because I just woke up or the fact that I only slept three hours after staying up all night with Amanda after the movie, but I am slightly intrigued by these neighbors.

Maybe I will drop by Amanda's apartment later.
