By the time Vic made it to the apartment building, he was panting very hard, and he could barely catch his breath. He held on to the wall of the edifice and kneeled down to catch his breath. He entered the apartment building and dashed through the hallways. He was so worried about Louise that he took the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. This was too serious for him!
Vic made it on the third floor and ran to door number 21, knocking frantically.
"Come in!" he heard a woman's name say from the inside. It didn't sound like Louise at all.
Vic closed the door to find an obese woman with short brown hair wearing a white tanktop over gray pants standing in the living room. She must have been Louise and Phil's sister Mary-Jo.
"Who - Who the fuck are you?" Mary-Jo asked Vic.
"Where's Louise?" Vic asked, ignoring Mary-Jo's question.
"What?" Mary-Jo asked right before she answered Vic's question. "He took her - that animal he took her! He's going to do something wicked to her!"
"Wait, who took her?" Vic asked, trying to calm down. "And who are you?"
"Mary Jo, her sister," Mary-Jo answered. "Who are you?"
"Vic... a friend," Vic answered himself.
"Oh," Mary-Jo replied, sounding rather sensual. "It's...it's nice to meet you - I've heard a lot about you..."
"Who took her?" Vic asked once again impatiently.
"That monster Marty," Mary-Jo answered. "He said he's gonna turn her out..."
"Jesus, his own wife," Vic grumbled, walking away.
"Yeah, yeah," Mary-Jo said, "but he said he was gonna turn me out too! I promise you he did!"
Vic ignored her and just ran out of the door. "He said he was coming back for me too!" Mary-Jo called out from the apartment door. "He'll be back for me! I know he will!"
Man, that lady must be a masochist, Vic thought.
He felt his heart pumping not just from running down the stairs, but from the sheer premonition on what Mary was doing to Louise. He hated to hear what Louise was going through, and the fact that she was taken by Marty only exacerbated the unfortunate incident.
Vic was so determined and worried that he didn't slow down when he finally made it to the bottom, darted out of the apartment building, and ran as fast as his muscular legs could carry him. He didn't wanted to stop until he finally made it to the trailer park.
By the time Vic finally made it to Marty's trailer, he was almost out of breath, and he leaned against the trailer to catch it. He took a peek in the window to view Marty grabbing Louise by the shoulder, a helpless Louise looking rather fearful and struggling to extricate herself from her abusive husband's grip. She was noticeably sporting a purple eye and some cuts and bruises on her arms and legs. Marty had been beating on her.
"I ain't gonna be your whore, Marty!" Louise shouted in his face.
"You've been whoring yourself on that Vic!" Marty growled. "Don't you deny it!"
He then raised his right hand back and punched Louise hard in the face. Louise fell to the floor. This shocked Vic, as it was the first time he actually viewed Marty physically abusing his wife.
"Stop it, Marty!" Louise shouted.
"Begging ain't gonna help you, bitch!" Marty roared as he bent over to throw another punch in Louise's face, causing her to cry softly.
