The newly-engaged couple sneak off to their secret townhouse for a night to themselves. This is prior to Grace revealing her ultra-clingy side. :)

Taylor walked into the kitchen of the Tribeca apartment to see Grace sitting at the dining room table and scowling at her laptop, obviously stressed out by whatever she was looking at.

"You okay?" Taylor asked softly as she approached her fiancé in the eating area, pulling a chair out next to the brunette while she waited for a reply.

"Yeah," Grace said without looking up, "William just sent me a bunch of performance reports that I have to look over by next week."

"Oh, is that good or bad?"

"It's annoying, there's like a hundred people on this list and I have to cut ten of them because they're all interns."

Taylor sighed in sync with Grace, "Sorry, hon. Anything I can do to de-stress you?"

"I'm going to put work away for the night," Grace said in some form of an answer, finally looking up at Taylor, "Oh, you showered."

"I've been gone for like twenty minutes, where did you think I went?" The blonde chuckled quietly while Grace shut her laptop lid.

The brunette shrugged, standing up going to the chair next to her where Taylor was sitting and placing herself on the songwriter's lap, "I love you."

Taylor smiled weakly as she enveloped the younger girl into a hug, "Work's really stressing you out, eh?"

Grace nodded with her chin on Taylor's shoulder, straddling the older girl as her legs dangled down to the floor, "Quarterly reports are coming up."

"Is that important?" Taylor asked, her hand running along Grace's back slowly.

"Yes," Grace mumbled against her fiancé's skin, "It's what we show investors so they can know how the corporation is doing and decide if they want to invest or pull out or... whatever the fuck they wanna do."

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Taylor questioned, not moving an inch because Grace seemed to be enjoying the closeness they shared at that moment.

"Can we go to the townhouse tonight?"

"Sure," she could feel Grace smile against her shoulder, "Do you want to sleep there or just get out of the apartment for a while?"

"I don't care, just take me with you."

Taylor chuckled, "Get up then, let's go."

Eventually they made their way to Cornelia Street, a backpack filled with pyjama's and their toiletries so they could stay the night.

Taylor drove and played soft music on the way there, letting Grace get lost in her thoughts as it seemed she could use a breather. She hardly ever complained about work but when she was stressed, she was stressed.

There had been so many days Taylor was stressed out and Grace had managed to calm her nerves, sometimes the younger girl's company was simply enough to bring Taylor back down to the ground.

Taylor brought the bag over to the couch and gently set it on one of the chairs in the living area, Grace pulling her hair out of her ponytail and sliding the elastic band onto her wrist before clinging to Taylor.

"I honestly don't know if I need sex or wine or a slap in the face."

Taylor chuckled as she pulled them down onto the soft sofa, holding Grace close, "All three are manageable but I have a better idea."
