I got a request for and I quote, "Something... normal."

Here's a mundane morning/afternoon.
_______

Grace woke up to the alarm on her end table blaring in her ear, she grumbled and opened her eyes. It was half past seven and she had to be in the office to meet with William despite her retirement.

She lazily reached for the device and tired to silence the alarm, taking in the warm April glow from the window as the sun cane up earlier with each passing day. Finally finding the button, she heard Taylor grumble as she rolled over.

"Why the heck is there an alarm?" Her wife asked, sounding quite destitute of energy.

"I have to go meet my brother," Grace croaked out with a groggy morning voice.

"Ugh," Taylor rubbed her eyes and tried to adjust them to the light. She yawned as she followed the brunette with her blue orbs while Grace softly patted off to the bathroom.

Taylor decided it was unlikely she was falling back into her welcoming slumber, pulling the blanket up higher as she had kicked it off a little in the night and grabbing her phone.

She scrolled through the dozen or so emails and messages she got during the time away from her device and set it down. She wandered into the bathroom and kissed the back of Grace's freshly showered head before grabbing her toothbrush and brushing her teeth.

"Are you up for the day?" Grace questioned. She was sitting on the countertop cross-legged so she could get close to the mirror, only wrapped in a white towel as she applied some makeup.

"Yes," Taylor said directly after spitting out the foam from the toothpaste, taking her hand and funnelling some water in her mouth to rinse.

"Sorry," Grace turned her head and smiled weakly, "Will asked if I could help him with this one promotions thing because the team just doesn't get it."

"It's okay, I should probably do some housework or something today anyways so that when we leave for tour it's not a complete mess."

"Don't overdo it, you need to rest up."

"I won't," Taylor said, "I'll meet you downstairs, I'm going to shower."

Grace might have looked while Taylor was getting undressed, it wasn't like Taylor didn't know, either.

The heiress didn't bother blow-drying her hair because she didn't have to leave for almost two hours still, going down and making a pot of coffee after throwing on a t-shirt and leggings to get her through until she got properly dressed.

She grabbed a mug out and left it on the counter for Taylor, too. Taking a long sip of the beverage, the brunette sat down at the counter and started to look through her emails on her laptop.

Taylor came down a few minutes later and thanked her for making coffee, sitting down and gently resting her head on Grace's shoulder for a moment.

"Did you pay the electricity bill?" Grace asked, eyes glued on the screen.

"I'll do it today," the singer answered, seeing Grace nod softly as she pulled away.

"Thanks," she said passively, "I'll drop the cats off at the groomer on my way to the office, do you want me to pick them up later or do you want to?"

"I don't know," Taylor sighed, "If I do it then I have to drag Greg with me and worry about people and stuff."

"It's fine, Parker and I can do it."
