For Thanksgiving, Madeline brings home her new girlfriend to meet her family.

*As stated in "Oxford", this request takes place when Alyssa and Cole are in Maui together prior to getting engaged, therefore none of our princess Alyssa drama shall take place, solely Madeline drama.

Also they have a lot of teenage boys (gags a little bit because imagine having 6 teenagers/ young adults and paying that grocery bill)

"They're here!" Nathan called out as he peaked through the curtains and out at the driveway where his sister and her new girlfriend pulled up.

"Everyone be nice unless she sucks," Taylor clapped her hands, hoping to collect their attention, "In which case, we want her running for the hills."

Nicholas was totally spying from the other window, trying to get a feel for Katie before anyone met her.

"How'd Maddie meet this one?" Liam asked as he walked into the kitchen. Katie was one of Maddie's many girls brought home. Grace and Taylor never liked any of them.

"She.." Taylor furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Grace, "The coffee shop?"

"I thought she was one of the dancers?"

"No," Nathaniel shook his head, "Back up singer."

Grace and Taylor agreed and nodded, remembering the story they had gotten on the phone one night a few months prior. They did have to give Madeline and Katie some credit, it did seem pretty serious.

The front door opened and in walked in the girls, clad in big coats with the bag of ice Grace asked them to pick up.

"Mama? Mom? We're here!"

Grace replied, "We're in the kitchen!"

It was only a moment for the girls to remove their coats and enter the kitchen to see the whole ensemble.

"Everyone this is Katie," Madeline began, "Katie, we have my Mama, Mom, Liam, Nick, Nate, James, Joe and that's Marshmallow. There's also a half dozen cats around here, stay away from the black one, he's extremely anti-social."

She pointed at each person, listening them off quickly as if Katie would get it right away.

Katie was taller than Madeline, brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin. She had a petite frame and a genuine smile as she tried to keep up.

"Nice to meet you all," the girl replied, bending down and scratching behind Marshmallow's ear. The large dog normally barked at new people for a minute but he rolled right on his back and tried to get her to rub his belly.

"Okay, there's a few rules in this house," Taylor began, "If you want a non-alcoholic drink, help yourself. Snacks are allowed unless it's an hour before dinner so help yourself to those as well. If we can hear you at night, you spend the night in the guest room and yes I mean noises, not talking. Don't give Marshmallow anything with dairy in it otherwise you have to clean up the mess and breakfast is at nine. Otherwise, have fun and be respectful, we aren't crazy, I promise."

"What kind of noises?" Nine-year-old James questioned, "Snoring?"

"Yup," Maddie said quickly, "You better watch out, J."

He widened his eyes, "I snore!"

"I know!" Grace played along, "But it's okay, we forgive you," she ran her fingers through his messy blond hair quickly.

"I snore too," Joe whispered, sitting next to him at the counter island and colouring with the boy.

"Yeah, you get it from Uncle Joe," Taylor chuckled.
