"I can teach you?" I smiled.
"I don't want to embarrass myself" he hid his face a little into his scarf, I noticed people were looking towards the rink now seeming interested.
"oh, I can help you with just forwards for now, make sure you bend your knees, lift your feet and glide, don't shuffle" I giggled skating backwards as he started moving forwards nicely.
He did a lap with a few wobbles but he was definitely improving! I was actually quite shocked.
"you're a fast learner! And you haven't even fallen, you have really good balance" I complimented him.
He looked at me awkwardly, I knew he couldnt take compliments well.
"my coach should have taught you instead, I was so bad the first few times you're way better than I was" I giggled thinking back to how I clung to the barrier terrified.
"y-you had a coach? Would you do dances then?" he asked forcing himself back to the barrier to talk.
"well not dance, more of a routine" I blushed stopping next to him too.
"what so you can spin and jump!?" he asked looking surprised.
I felt a little strange, he seemed to be really interested? I could show him and try to improvise a routine?
I nodded starting to feel a little nervous again.
"could you show me? I-if you want to that is, don't hurt yourself" he blushed hiding his face a little again.
"I-I will when a good song plays" I smiled feeling a little unsure.

After helping him a little more a slow romantic song started playing, I immediately recognised it as it was one of my favourite singers! Aurora.
I blushed looking up at him "t-this song is good".
He nodded and stood back to the barrier on his own no longer needing help.
I stood in the middle of the rink and started skating trying to be as elegant as possible, the songs lyrics felt so romantic and special, I had to do my best!
I felt the snow start to fall a little heavier now as I prepared for an axel.
I swung up into the jump and swiftly landed perfectly! I felt so ecstatic that I could still land one after not practicing for ages.

After landing that axel I felt my confidence build back up and skated a step sequence a bit slower, I never really enjoyed step sequences as everyone else was much better at them.
I looked over at Amajiki for a few seconds whilst doing backwards crossovers, he was watching closely, he looked especially cute wrapped up in his scarf.
I also noticed a few people had started watching me from outside the barrier and people were entering the rink tent which made me nervous having so many eyes on me now.
I went into a layback spin, one of my favourite spins, it felt as if it went well with the music playing.
I started feeling a little out of breath and went for the hardest jump I used to be able to do, a double Lutz.
I always struggled with the rotation and getting the correct edge.
I jumped and landed a bit wobbly but saved it and lastly went into a flying camel spin soon ending feeling out of breath.
My body felt like it was burning, I forgot how tiring skating was, my cheeks felt like heat was radiating off of them.
I skated back to Amajiki who looked shocked and a little red in the cheeks too.

"wow your girlfriend is really good Mr" a cute voice spoke from behind the barrier near Amajiki as he still stared at me skating towards him.
As I got closer I saw a little boy standing the other side of the barrier, I blushed from what he had said, luckily my cheeks were already red from doing that routine so my blushing wouldnt be too noticable.
Did amajiki even hear the kid? I reached the barrier feeling a little embarrassed now.
"hey! Mr are you ignoring me" the kid shouted, his eyes barely reaching the edge of the barrier to look up.
Amajiki suddenly turned away from me to look down at the child as I stood next to him breathing a little heavier.
"s-sorry, did you speak?" Amajiki asked looking timid.
The boy repeated his first sentence and Amajiki visibly blushed looking back at me shyly, he didn't seem to know how to respond.
"I-I'm not his girlfriend, thank you though" I smiled at the kid awkwardly, kids kinda scared me.
I watched as he smiled big and ran back to his mother, I was now left in silence with Amajiki, it suddenly felt very awkward.
"y-you skate amazingly, I wish I could be like you" he smiled genuinely.
My heart raced and I felt my cheeks burning yet again "t-thank you, do you want to learn something else?" I asked feeling shy suddenly from the compliment.
He nodded softly and I taught him a few more basic forward movements as the rink started to gain more skaters, all of them clinging to the barriers giggling.

Amajiki stayed off the barrier for the next 10 minutes, he seemed surprised by his own ability to pick up skating so fast, which made me happy.
He also didn't seem to be as cold before.
"c-could I learn one more thing?" he asked looking nervous to ask.
I nodded "sure what is it?".
"backwards? Or is it too hard?" he looked a little worried yet curious whether he could push himself to learn more.
"it's not too hard, plus I think you'll get it easy, you have with everything else I've taught you so far" I smiled hoping it would help bring up his confidence.

I held onto his hands softly as he stepped backwards slowly starting to glide better, he followed all my instructions really well! I felt so shocked I let go for a second to see if he could handle it on his own and he wobbled grabbing my hands back quickly.
I blushed and looked up at him "s-sorry" I probably should have asked first.
"I-I'm sorry, I don't think I'm stable enough yet" he looked away from me, the tips of his ears were bright red, I couldn't tell if it was from the cold or from embarrassment.
"you're doing amazing Amajiki!" I tried my best to encourage him, especially when it was the truth.
His eyes softened as his mouth upturned a little into a small smile.
He burried his face into his scarf again but as he did his balance adjusted to the back of his blades and he slipped.
He pulled on my hands as a reflex making me fall forwards too as he fell onto his butt and lower back pulling me on top of him accidentally.
I was now on top of him, our faces met, our bodies pressed as close together as they could get.
His legs were separated and my legs fell between luckily missing his toe picks.
My hands were placed onto his chest as his had fell backwards to the ice.
Because he was slightly bent upwards our faces were meeting but our bodies were pressed together.
I couldn't bring my eyes away from his indigo eyes, he looked so worried yet there was something else I couldn't read.
His body felt so warm under my own, just feeling his body against me felt amazing.
He broke the eye contact and looked down at our bodies and started to blush hard.
I backed away feeling a little surprised standing up helping Amajiki shakily stand again, I dusted the ice off of my legs.
We were still silent, both our cheeks flushed crimson.
"s-sorry, I didn't mean to pull you down too! Did I hurt you?" he apologised clearly becoming flustered.
"d-don't worry I'm fine I'm used to falling, are you OK?" I asked worried if he fell on his tailbone, falling there always made me cry.
He nodded still pink in the cheeks "I erm feel a little tired now, I-I never knew skating was so tiring".
"yeah it really helped build up my leg muscles" I blushed feeling a little insecure about how large my thighs were in comparison to the top half of my body.

We soon got off the ice and took our boots off, it was lucky as the rink had started to get fuller.
As I was taking my boots off I couldn't stop replaying in my head when our bodies pressed together and how his eyes looked into mine.
He took his skates back and retrieved his shoes as I shook my head at my own thoughts.
