Break Up?

"I-I wonder if kimi got back OK?" I asked as Amajiki pulled away.
"oh yeah, I should talk to her" he headed towards the dorms front door as I followed after him.
We walked in to find Nejire and Mirio waiting by the door as we took our coats off.
"what were you two doing?" Mirio smirked.
I blushed, did they see us hugging??
"oh! Clara come here, I have something to show you" Nejire winked pulling me towards the kitchen area away from the other students.
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and flicked through multiple photos of me and Amajiki skating together.

My eyes widened, how!?!
"w-were you following us?" I asked nervously feeling a bit unsure.
"well... Not intentionally, me and mirio went out to get some food and maybe we remembered you were going the rink" she giggled showing me more photos.
I blushed harder "w-wow" she could be so sneaky sometimes "send me them" I whispered feeling embarrassed to want them.
She raised her eyebrows "so how was it? We left after 5 minutes, didn't want to spy on you two" she giggled showing me a video now of me skating and Amajiki watching intently smiling softly.
My cheeks went redder as my heart raced, I didn't realise he was smiling!?
"look at his expression, he looks so calm and happy" Nejire smiled putting her phone away as I was still feeling shocked he looked at me that way.

"I-it was a good day... But Kimi showed up a-" I got cut off by Nejire.
"ugh! Is that why she came back moody" she butted in.
"she did? Oh... And well after that there was this car crash, it might be shown on the news I saw a helicopter there when I was leaving" I added.
"what!?" Nejire shouted surprised as I continued to explain what had happened in full detail.

"wow... So much happened, I'm glad you're both OK and enjoyed the skating though" she smiled as we went to walk back to where the two boys were standing.
"oh Amajiki said he was going to talk to Kimi... I-I don't know but maybe he might break up with her" I added quietly, I secretly hoped he would.
"really!? Hmm, from what you said she did seem out of order" Nejire tapped her chin.
We joined the boys again and Nejire showed Amajiki the video too but not all the photos.
Amajiki blushed "y-you stalked us?"
"noooo! We were getting food" mirio squeezed Amajikis shoulder "but damn, I didn't know you could skate so well" mirio continued loudly as other students turned around.
"yeah! We should all go one day, could have invited us" Nejire smirked.
Amajiki shuffled awkwardly going redder, oh yeah, he had said he had asked them but he didn't.
I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile, he actually wanted to spend time with me alone!

"hey! Can I see?" Mark appeared placing his arm around me as Nejire showed him the video, I started feeling a little embarrassed as he called others over to watch, they all started to compliment me.
I went red not sure how to act "e-erm... T-thank you" I blushed wanting to move away from everyone.
"damn Amajiki I've never seen you smile so much too" a girl who was friends with Kimi said loudly getting Kimis attention across the room.
We both blushed as Mark held onto my shoulder harder.
"hey show me, she can't be that good" Kimi moodily pushed people aside to see for herself.
She was now stood next to me, I could see her jaw clench as she pursed her lips "yeah, I could do that too" she giggled.
I noticed a few classmates start to whisper and move away, Kimi was starting to become too obvious with hating me.
I didn't understand what she was doing, she was openly being annoying now.

"h-hey, kimi, could I talk to you?" Amajiki stuttered as everyone looked up curious.
"sure babe" she smiled sweetly as they walked outside of the dorms.
The students that were once around us dispersed.
"I'm going to listen" Mirio snuck away through the floor using his quirk.
"Mirio!" I shouted but he didn't listen.
"I wanna listen too!" Nejire giggled.
"n-no control your curiosity, I doubt he'd end it with her" I shook my head as we sat down waiting for 5 minutes, I felt stupidly anxious for him.
Mirio soon came back breathing heavier as Nejire shook him "tell us what happened!!".
Mirio looked towards me "he, well, he asked her why she was so mean to you, she said she wasn't and that he was just imagining things, he tried to stick up for you and she had a go at him and started to insult him and -" I stopped mirio after hearing that.
"no, that's it, she can insult me but she dare speak down to him like that" I rushed downstairs, anger boiling up inside of me, I was sick of her now.
I wanted to yell at her and I finally felt a little more confident with what I wanted to say to her.

I opened the door to the building and turned a corner and stopped suddenly, she was kissing him hard and he seemed to be kissing her back.
I rushed back inside breathless, my heart aching harshly as I reached my two friends, tears were forming in my eyes.
Nejire stood up quickly noticing "w-what happened?".
I fell to my knees and covered my face "t-they were kissing" I sniffled.
"w-what, but they were arguing, I thought they were going to break up, I-I'm sorry" Mirio knelt down next to me placing his hand on my back as Nejire fetched me a tissue.
"I - I feel so pathetic" I cried, I felt so embarrassed but luckily everyone had already gone to their rooms for the night.
"you're not, you really love him" Mirio sat down next to me, my heart raced at his words.
"I-I need to stop, I don't think my heart can take this" I sighed.
"no, no please don't give up on him, I'm sure he loves you too" Nejire hugged me as I pulled away confused, mirios eyes shifted awkwardly.
"did he tell you guys something?" I asked wiping my eyes.
"d-did I say that, I-I mean" Nejire stuttered as I heard the door open.

"what happened?" I heard Amajiki say as he walked in with Kimi, I wiped my eyes quickly.
"she just tripped and hurt her ankle" Nejire quickly lied for me.
I sighed, thank god her mind was so fast.
"oh no" Kimi pouted as I felt anger run through me just hearing her voice.
"I-I'm just going to go to bed" I stood up quickly, my eyes feeling irritated and puffy now.
"a-are you OK? Do you want me to help you upstairs?" Amajiki asked.
My heart ached, stop being so nice!
How am I supposed to get over you!?
I shook my head quickly as he looked down sadly.
"Amajiki, can we talk?" Mirio asked.
"oh, sure" Amajiki looked over at his friend, I hoped Mirio wouldn't mention what just happened.
"oh well I'll see you tomorrow babe" Kimi pulled him in and kissed him as I watched, I couldn't take my eyes away even though I wanted to, my heart tugged painfully.
Kimi slipped off to her room as Amajiki looked back to me "a-are you sure you're OK?" he asked.
I couldn't talk, my throat was dry and I just wanted to cry again.
I nodded and looked away to Nejire who pushed Amajiki softly to go with Mirio to his room.
