The train soon pulled into the station and my nerves started getting the better of me, even though he constantly reassured me, I knew I wouldn't be ok until I met his parents.
"Let's go" Tamaki grabbed my bags smiling softly, I could tell he was a little nervous too!We exited the station and I took in the fresh air from the grassy fields ahead.
"So it's a 20 minute walk to my house, there's a small village around here with a couple of basic shops too" he pointed in different directions.
As we started walking Tamaki let me know small facts or interesting things from his childhood as we passed certain places, I smiled up at him, his expression was so soft as he spoke about his childhood.
"And that's the school I met mirio in" he pointed to a far off building in the distance.
"Oh this is where you became best friends!" I smiled up at him.
He nodded and we continued walking, the village was tiny, but it was cute.He soon pointed to a hill that looked to be a 5 minute walk away "there it is, my house" he breathed out heavily from walking up hill.
It was about medium sized, traditional Japanese looking and light in colour, I couldn't believe we were almost there.
As we walked up the path I noticed loads of flowers in his garden attracting bees and butterflies, I'd be sure to avoid that area when there were butterflies, however I really loved bees they were so fluffy too!
"Oh do your parents like gardening?" I asked clinging to his arm ready to hide into his chest if a bug flew at me.
"My mom does yes, she's a florist so she adores flowers, my dad used to buy her different types of flowers every week when they first got married and that's how she found out she loved them so much" he smiled down at me, my cheeks flushed red, that seemed so romantic!!We got to the front door and I gulped nervously as Tamaki lifted a hand to knock but before his hand could reach the door it swung open and a large male figure stood in the door way.
"Son!" He spoke quickly before pulling Tamaki into a tight hug ruffling his dark hair.
Seemed like this was his dad, he seemed quite overwhelmed and emotional to see him, I was already quite jealous his parents were still together but it made me wonder if my dad even missed me, and I was in a different country too.
"Ok ok dad let go please I'm about to suffocate" Tamaki tried to pull away from his fathers grasp on him.
"No way I'm getting as many cuddles in now before you run away" he snickered, his dad was quite large, very muscly and had strong features, he kind of reminded me of Mirio with this energetic loving personality.
Tamaki rolled his eyes as he looked at me but I couldn't help but giggle at him.His dad soon turned his head, his eyes meeting my own as I blushed, I didn't want to interrupt their reunion!
"Ah you must be Clara! Tamaki texts us about you all the time" he let got of Tamaki smiling friendly towards me before pulling me in for a hug too.
"It's nice to meet you!" I quickly said.
My cheeks somehow grew redder, I'd never really had a hug off my own dad, this was a weird feeling, Is this what the love of a father is supposed to be like? I started to feel quite emotional, jealousy welling up inside of me.
"I don't text that much, don't be embarrassing!" Tamaki hid his head against the wall.
I giggled as his dad let go to look down at me rolling his eyes at Tamaki "he really likes you" he raised his eyebrows.
Tamaki looked up from the wall and pulled his dads strong arms "please stop".
His dad giggled cutely " I'm just teasing you"."Anyway come in, come in! I've started making lunch" he lead us into the house.
I walked through the door and my eyes widened, this house, it seemed so cozy and welcoming, and the food he was preparing smelt amazing I wondered what it could be!
But also his mom seemed to be no where in sight I wondered if she was ok?
I saw a few photo frames on the wall of Tamaki and his parents, no photos of siblings only older relatives, he must be an only child too.
His house seemed more like a cottage on the inside rather than the traditional Japanese it looked from the outside, it was so sweet."I'll take your bags upstairs 1 second" Tamaki walked up with the cases leaving me awkwardly standing in his living room as his dad continued cooking.
"I hope you like yakitori! I'm not the best cook but Tamaki loves it" his dad smiled back at me before going back to cooking.
I looked up nervously not wanting to do or say anything wrong, I didn't want to make a bad impression with how anxious I was I had to try and be confident! "I-It smells amazing Mr Amajiki" I blushed.
He turned his head a little and nodded kindly.Tamaki soon returned downstairs draping an arm around my waist softly yet shakily "you want to go upstairs and check out the rest of the house, I can give you a tour of the upstairs" he blushed a little.
I nodded "sure! But quickly because your dads cooking something yummy and I don't wanna miss out" I giggled, I really wanted to try it, it smelt great!
Tamaki nodded and lead me upstairs, his soft large hand in mine.
"Where should I start, h-here's my room" he blushed as he pushed open the door slowly, his cheeks seemed to be glowing as he did so.
I turned to look into his room as I smiled.Ya girls got Covid 🙈 I've been so busy lately I didn't realise i hadn't written a chapter for so long I'm so sorry!! I hope you're all ok 🙏
