You are bestfriends with Izuki Shun, the punster of Seirin Basketball team since childhood.

You're pretty immune with his puns, though you're still annoyed at him whenever he says those pitiful lines.

Your teacher told the class that she'll give a surprise quiz, and when you asked  him for help, he replied, "Not all surprises are good. Surprise quiz said."

Facepalm. He's always like that. That's the reason why you two never had a normal conversation.

" Are you fucking kidding me?"

"But I'm not a kid to be kidding!"

You facepalmed. Again.

"Shun, you better have an appointment on a mental hospital. Your condition is severe. Beyond hopeless actually."

He pouted and tried to glare at you. He was so cute at his attempt to be mad at you, so you pinched his cheeks and said, "I'm just joking." Both of you laughed. Though, you're serious about what you said earlier.

You two went to the library after dismissal. The both of you studied and the good thing is, Izuki stopped telling his ridiculous puns.

"(f/n)-chan!Knock knock!" Izuki asked. You ignored him. He just continued to pester you and knowing that he wouldn't stop unless you noticed him, decided to pay attention to him.

You looked at him with a bored look.

"Who's there?""Jess." Your eyebrows furrowed. "Jess who?"

He beamed a big smile then, "JESS give me a reason~ JESS a little bit's enough~ JESS a second we're not broken JESS be--jsjsgzzksbsi! (f/n)-chaaan! Meanie!" You couldn't take it, you stuffed a crumpled paper to Izuki's mouth because of his horrible voice.

"JUST SHUT UP!"

Unfortunately for the two of you, you need to leave the library now.

Time Skip-lunchtime,after the surprise quiz

The both of you is eating lunch at the rooftop.

" (f/n), If someone told you he loves you, what will be your response?"

You were shocked at what he asked. He seemed pretty serious.

"Love has four letters. So does food."

He looked at you, feeling dejected, and decided to shut the fuck up.

The silence is comforting, until a girl named (First Name) shrieked, "OH FOOD WHY CAN'T I MARRY YOU?!"

Izuki looked at you and laughed.

"Of course you can't (f/n)chan! You're going to marry me, not the food." You almost choked and blushed furiously at his last line.

"W-what?!"

"I love you, (f/n)." He said and your heart went doki doki.
