Zayn reached out for me again and tapped my shoulder. "Yes" I responded nonchalantly. "C'mon Niall, don't be like that. Let's go crazy 'till we see the sun" [See What I Did There :D]
I looked at him with zero percent emotion on my face. "Hmph..." I responded before returning to text Dianne.
"Niall, don't be such a downer."
"Oh i'm not. I'm just being real"
"Real?"
"Yeah. You've always had every girl fall to your feet. But Zayn Malik, you have to slay the dragon for this damsel"
I mentally high-fived myself for thinking of that right on the spot.
"Uhm, that dragon isn't anywhere around now is he" Zayn said winking at me. I cocked my head and rose an eyebrow at him.
Paul, turned and faced Zayn when we reached a light. I smiled.
"There's my dragon right there" I said patting Paul on the chest and returning to my texting.
