'I will find out what's going on.'

~Lefty's POV~

I spent the rest of the day planning how I was gonna get Molten to spill whatever the hell he's hiding. No thanks to Helpy, he didn't do anything.

My plan is to take him somewhere for breakfast, then go to the park. More specifically, the hill where we watch the sun rise. I'm hoping to have a heart-to-heart conversation. Key word- hoping. There's a high chance I could goof up somewhere and ruin this whole thing, but I have to try.

If I don't, I'll drive myself insane with worry.

~Time Skip- Next morning~

~Molten's POV~

I've never been full-on scared before, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm terrified.

Yesterday, Lefty told me he wanted to go out for breakfast. Why am I so scared? First of all, people. Second, I think he's catching on to me, although I'm not sure what he's catching on to. He's been acting really suspicious; but then again, so have I. Maybe I'm stressing out over nothing, but I can't be too sure.

I decided to visit Helpy before we went out. Thankfully, his door was open, meaning he was awake.

"Helpy?" I poked my head into the doorway. He was sitting on his bed, eating popcorn and typing on a laptop. He closed the laptop and looked at me, gesturing for me to come over. I did so.

"Whatcha need? Good morning by the way." He smiled.

"Good morning and uh.. I need help." I tapped my index fingers together.

"Well that's what I'm here for, dummy." Helpy giggled. He's basically my therapist at this point.

"Yesterday, Lefty asked me to go to breakfast with him and I don't know what to do." I said quickly.

"Like a date??" His eyes lit up.

"I think intervention is a better term." I sighed.

"Oh, darn." Helpy's white bear ears lowered. Clearly he was disappointed. "Maybe one day."

"Help me, I'm scared." I shook him lightly.

"You'll be fine, trust me. If it's an intervention, it's only because he's worried about you." Helpy reassured.

"Are you certain?" My nerves started to calm.

"Yes, now go. I'm writing a story."

"About what?"

"I'll never tell, now go!" Helpy shoved me out of the room and locked the door. I crossed my arms, looking at Lefty who was waiting on the couch. He looked at me, smiling as I approached him.

"Ready?" He stood up, hopping over the back of the couch and standing next to me. I nodded, shoving my fears to the back of my mind.

~Time skip- half an hour~

~Lefty's POV~

We walked into this random breakfast place I found online. It had 4 stars, so it better be good. Of course, breakfast wasn't my main concern. It was what would happen after.

The lady at the front desk sat us down at a table in the corner. I thanked her as she walked away. Molten hasn't said a single word so far. He looked terrified, though I don't know why. Last I checked, he wasn't scared of me. Maybe that was a lie. I shook my head, not wanting to think like that at the moment. A waitress came over and took our orders. First time Molten has spoken since we arrived. I wasn't gonna bother him about it now; not the right time.
