'Or so I thought.'
~Lefty's POV~
It's been exactly two years since Molten and I became a couple. We've been through a lot, and thankfully haven't gotten into any arguments. I think that's a sign that we're meant to be together. Hopefully forever, but who's to say for sure...I don't wanna think about that.
I sighed before getting out of bed. Molten wasn't in bed, so I assumed he was making breakfast. He's actually a really good cook. After all, Helpy taught him.
"Morning guys!" I said after leaving my room, shutting the door behind me.
"Good morning!" Helpy hugged me quickly.
"Where's Molten?" I tilted my head. I heard laughter from behind me and turned around just in time to see Molten jumping at me, causing us both to fall on the ground.
"Good morning~!" He was hugging me tight. I returned his hug, smiling.
"Lemme up." I tried pushing him off, but to no avail.
"Never~!" He hugged me tighter.
"I can't breathe-"
"Oh, whoops.." Molten let me go and stood up, holding his hand out for me. I giggled, taking his hand and pulling myself up.
"I could breathe. I just don't like the floor." I kissed his cheek before walking over to the couch and sitting down.
"Aw.. You could've just said that, you know." Molten hopped over the back of the couch, sitting beside me. I looked at him.
"That's no fun~." I smiled. He grinned.
"What was the point of sitting down only to get up again? Breakfast is ready!" Helpy half-yelled. I've noticed he's been losing his voice, but he doesn't seem sick. I should ask him about it.
"Alright then." I started to get up, however, Molten picked me up and held me bridal-style. I stuck my tongue out at him like a 6 year old would.
"I know you like when I do this." He giggled as he carried me to the table and set me in my seat.
"You guys eat, I have to go take care of something.." Helpy walked to his room and shut the door. I looked at Molten and he shrugged. He sat down and started eating the waffles Helpy made. I sighed before doing the same.
After we finished, Molten cleaned up our plates and sat back down.
"You know what today is, right?" He looked at me, his head tilted.
"Of course I do, I'm not that dumb." I smiled.
"You aren't dumb, love. I was just making sure you knew." He pulled something out of his pocket.
"I'll never forget it, y'know."
"And neither will I." Molten slid something across the table to me. I glanced at it, then back at him.
"What's this?" I picked up the small wrapped box and observed it.
"Open it!"
I did as I was told and took the neat wrapping off of the box, opening it once I had finished. I looked at what lay inside - A necklace with a small yellow star charm hanging from the chain. I turned it around and read what the back said.
"My Star." I looked up at Molten.
"Do you like it..?" He had a worried expression when I didn't speak. Instead, I put it on, got up, and walked over to him. "Lefty..?"
"I love you so much." I sat on his lap and hugged him, burying my face into the crook of his neck. He giggled.
"You like it?" He returned the hug.
