'I wasn't going to.'
~Molten's POV~
"He's in jail, police just called me back." Spring said, walking to the kitchen.
"It hasn't even been a full 24 hours, wow." I stood up from the couch and walked over to him.
"Yeah, they're quick." He laughed.
"I have a random question, would you mind if I stayed for a longer time? I still have that bad feeling about home.." I questioned.
"Of course! It'll be nice to have some company for once." Spring smiled.
"Thanks, I appreciate it."
"Anytime pal, you can have the guest bedroom. There isn't much there except a mattress and a nightstand, sorry." He pointed to a door down the hallway. I nodded.
"Don't be sorry, it's enough for me." I smiled before walking down to the room. I opened the door and stepped inside, looking around. Like Spring said, there was only a mattress with a pillow and a blanket, along with a nightstand next to it. I sighed as I sat at the end of it. I began to get lost in thought.
Lefty, I hope you'll forgive me..
I'll be staying here for awhile.
~Lefty's POV~
I laid on my bed, humming to the tune of the song playing from my phone. I heard a knock at my door and paused it, standing up and opening the door.
"Yes?" I looked up at Red.
"Since this is basically your house now, I feel like I have to ask if I can have people over. My friends are worried and don't believe me that everything is fine, eheh.." Red smiled.
"Red. You own this house. You pay the bills. Why the hell are you asking me?" I narrowed my eye.
"I just told you."
I sighed. Honestly, I prefer this side of him. When he acts like a kid. It's funny.
"Of course." I smiled.
"Thanks, lil' bro." Red ruffled my hair.
"I feel like a little kid when you do that.."
"Good. You grew up too fast."
"Look who's talking." I smirked.
"I had a reason to!" He crossed his arms.
"Go call your friends over." I shut the door.
"Alright, fine." I heard his footsteps as he walked away.
I flopped back on my bed and sighed. I haven't spoken to anyone other than my brothers in forever. Maybe it'd help to interact with new faces. I stared at the ceiling, trying to avoid every thought including Molten. Every time he came into my mind, I cried. It still hurts knowing he's dead..
I started tearing up, so I stopped myself there. I got up and left my room, walking to the couch where Helpy was.
"Hey, how are you doing?" I sat down beside him as he looked at me.
"..Better, I guess." His voice was soft.
"I'm sorry again." I hugged him.
"For what?" He returned it.
"For failing as a brother."
"Stop it, please don't say that.." Helpy sighed. "It wasn't your fault."
