It's been 3 days since he purposely showed up to some people who did something terrible to his family. He witnessed how they faint or die from a heart attack when they saw him and he felt a sense of happiness. At night he is roaming around Choi Villa and he wanted to include Mr. Choi Beomseok and Choi Soohyun's family members to his revenge.

Taehyun ended up staying in the darkroom of Choi Beomseok's son because he always saw him crying.

"Maybe I should begin my plan on making him suffer before targeting his mother or father," he thought. He also witnessed Choi Beomseok's bad treatment to his one and only son and Taehyun became confused and sad.

"His father might not even care if I'm going to kill him."

In comparison, Taehyun's father is responsible and affectionate to him that's why he can't help but feel sad for his situation. He ended up caressing his hair and hugging him until he fell asleep, even though it's a silly idea because he can never touch him. He doesn't even have an idea of why his heart is beating fast every time that he saw the son of the traitor. What an irony for a dead person.

"Choi Beomgyu"  he unconsciously slipped his name on his tongue when he saw him drifting to sleep after crying silently. He can't stop himself from worrying because he is crying every night.

In the afternoon, Taehyun found himself following Beomgyu, instead of doing his usual routine of eavesdropping Choi Beomseok and his colleagues so that he can come up with a plan before his time runs out. He finds it odd that Beomgyu looked gloomy today, and he finds it odd that he cares for this boy.

He saw what's carved on the grave and he almost forgot that it's supposed to be his 21st birthday today if his soul hasn't left his body.

"Happy birthday" Beomgyu muttered to the grave. He didn't miss a day on visiting the grave of the deceased whom he never talked with even for once, yet he is Beomgyu's first love. He lit a candle and carefully laid a bouquet of daffodil, the favorite flower of the deceased.

He can't help but shed tears because of feeling too much regret. He never had a chance to talk to him, he never had a chance to thank him for being his role model, he never had a chance to say that he loves him, and he never had a chance to save him at his darkest times. He ended up admiring Taehyun in shadows especially when he's is in a relationship with his friend.

He is devastated when he heard the news of his death, that was rumored to be a suicide. People are even calling him a demon or a curse that's why they made up a rumor to never say his name because it will bring misfortune to their town. The majority of their town's people hated him, but Beomgyu is included to the least people who still believe that Taehyun is not a curse, a demon, or a bad person.

People's pointless rumors made Beomgyu more aloof and he is not regretting the fact he doesn't socialize that much on people. Despite being obliged to attend several gatherings with his father who is a general and a politician, who once became good friends with Taehyun's family. Beomgyu strongly believed that he didn't die because of suicide and he promised to give justice for his death.

He stayed until the sky gets dark, and he left there with a heavy heart. Little did he know, Taehyun is also there, being bewildered because of the actions of the criminal's son.

Beomgyu went back to the house and ate his dinner alone because his parents are too busy entertaining a visitor. He went upstairs to go back to his room when he heard the voice of his father mentioning Taehyun's name.

"I can't help myself but laugh at the fact that your son is visiting that goddamn grave when the corpse of that son of a bitch is not there" he recognized the voice of his uncle, Choi Soohyun.

"It's really hard to discipline my stubborn son, don't worry I will make sure that he has no choice but to obey" his dad replied.

He immediately went straight to his room when he heard their footsteps closer to the door. He didn't notice that he's holding his breath and tears when he heard their conversation. He felt awful for the fact that he has no idea about the whereabouts of Taehyun's dead body.

He leaned on the wall with his trembling fists and he started to sob. He sat on the floor and clamped his palm on his mouth so that nobody can hear his cries.

He became deaf to the crimes and sins of his family for so long, because of the thought of losing his one and only family. It will be worse and way more horrible if he tolerated and hid all of his family's wrongdoings, and now he's willing to stand up against his family. He felt as if he is destined to be alone because he lost his first love, and he is about to lose his family.

Taehyun also heard everything and he is completely in shock to see how Beomgyu reacted. His vengeful heart went soft for a while and he sat beside Beomgyu who is still in a crying mess. Taehyun somehow felt guilty that he can't touch Beomgyu to hug him and to wipe his tears.

"Why do I feel weak when I saw him hurting and crying?" Taehyun thought.
