Kiss in the Wind [taegyu] ✔️

[editing: extra part] Alternative ending? Idk sorry hehe

A.N: I wrote this because a part of me wants a reunion for our taegyu hehehe. Sorry if this looks rushed because I only did this for thirty minutes omg huhu.

NOTE: After two weeks, I added a little bit to this part.

The heavy rain didn't stop the soldiers from fighting in the war. The war is a crucial battle for the freedom of the country. The safety and future of the citizens are at stake.

They are battling against the largest group of terrorists in the country who are responsible for multiple massacres and bombing in public places.

The operation to retake the capital is led by General Taehyung Kim, and Lieutenant- General Beomgyu Choi. Taehyung is on their headquarter, and he is serving as the intel and strategist. Meanwhile, Beomgyu is leading the attack on the battlefield.

Lifeless bodies are everywhere, and the sound of the firearms and explosives is deafening.

"You are 10 meters now from the main territory of the terrorists. Proceed with the final formation!" Taehyung sternly said in the handheld transceiver.

"Yes, General!" Beomgyu said, looking at his troops to form now the last formation that their general formulated.

Beomgyu is in front of the formation. He kicked the door of the enemy's territory. He immediately fires his gun to the first person that he saw inside.

"Enter and surround the whole territory! Kill all of the enemies!" Beomgyu ordered.

"Yes, General!" the soldiers saluted, before going to their respective directions.

The main territory is a three-story mansion that is twice larger than the villa. Beomgyu went to the third floor, and he is now searching with three men. They busted into any rooms that they are passing by.

Any member of the terrorist, who has crossed paths with Beomgyu and his men, is immediately shot to death. In less than thirty minutes, Beomgyu and his team have estimated kills of 20 enemies.

They thought that they are going to win, but a loud explosion has made the soldiers thrown away. Beomgyu is wounded on his arm, while his two men have leg injuries. Beomgyu tried to contact their comrades using his handheld transceiver, but no one responded. Meanwhile, the handheld transceiver of the two men is broken.

The three are the only remaining soldiers in that territory, and they didn't even have captured the leader and his allies.

Beomgyu realized that it would be hard for his remaining comrades to move and to hide if ever they are seen and cornered by the enemy. The atmosphere becomes gloomy since there is a slim chance to survive and to make it out alive.

"Sir, you have to make it. Among us, you are the last hope and the one who can capture and return to our headquarters with the victory. On my behalf, please give this to my wife!" the soldier, named Heesung, took out a gold necklace from his pocket.
