"Mom! I wanted to come with you!" Beomgyu is about to follow his mother when Mr. Choi shouted.

"Soobin, hold him!" his authority has made Soobin follow him. The older holds both of Beomgyu's shoulders to prevent him from stepping out of the house. He obliged his order even if it is not what he wanted to do.

"Mom!" Beomgyu shouted while struggling against Soobin's tight grip. He is on the verge of crying, and he froze when he received a slap from his father. Soobin even flinched, being terrified of his uncle's intimidating aura.

"From now on, she is as good as dead. Understood?!"

"Yes, sir," Beomgyu said, regaining his composure until his father left without any trace of guilt or sadness.

Only Beomgyu's shaky breath is heard, and Soobin's eyes glistened because his cousin has to be hurt again.

"I'm sorry Gyu," Soobin softly whispered while bringing his cousin to the room.

"You only did the right thing hyung because you will get in trouble once you disobey him. Maybe this is the best option for my mother so that she won't get caught up in the downfall of our family. This is for the best, even if it means leaving me alone," Beomgyu can't stop his tears from falling. He tried to wipe it using his fingers, but tears keep on pouring down on his face.

Soobin remained silent, and he hugged the younger. He is speechless, and he doesn't know how to ease the pain. He is thankful for the fact that Beomgyu is still a kind person despite his painful life.

"It feels like I'm living in hell, and it hurts. I'm getting tired of everything," Beomgyu can't hide the pain on his voice. He buried his face on Soobin's shoulder, who is always there for him.

"Your suffering will end soon. I will never leave you," Soobin lightly tapped his head.

"You are the only one that I have. Taehyun will leave me soon, and I have to endure the sadness again," Beomgyu started sobbing at the thought of saying his goodbye to his first love.

"I'm sorry because life seems unfair to you, and I can't do anything about it," Soobin cried silently.

"You will never leave me, right? Yeonjun-hyung and you," Beomgyu said between his sobs.

"Yes, yes, we are your family and you can live with us if you wanted to!" Soobin will be more than happy if his cousin is going to live with him. They cuddle each other and ate together, which could somehow distract Beomgyu's mind.

Soobin stayed with him until afternoon, and he only left when Taehyun arrived.
