Beomgyu's eyes are swollen when he woke up and started doing his morning rituals and he became confused when his father talked to him.

"Did you do something stupid to your friend?" his father said with his arched eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

His father looked in the living room, Kai is there with his puffy eyes, staring at him.

"He's not going to leave this house if you didn't settle everything and apologize. Do you understand?" he said as if he's giving an order.

"Yes, sir" Beomgyu politely answered, just like what he used to be. He sighed as he watched his father leave the villa, and he became sad from the thought that his father treats Kai like his own son.

"Beomgyu-hyung, please talk to me" the younger broke the silence. Beomgyu badly wanted to shut himself back to his room, but his father will punish him. He just takes a sit in front of Kai.

"I'm sorry, I am taking back everything that I have said last night! Please forgive me!" Kai started crying in front of him.

"I'm getting tired of this and I feel like you are not a real friend to me. Maybe you befriended me only because of our parents' relationship" but Beomgyu can't deny the fact that he trusted him and he became selfless to him, to the point of setting aside his romantic feelings for Taehyun for his friend's happiness. Taehyun and Kai liked each other and Beomgyu never intended to involve himself in their love.

"I'm willing to do anything for you! Please don't leave me!" Kai went and sat beside the elder while wiping his tears.

"Do you still love Taehyun? Or rather, did you love him the same way that he did when he was alive?" Beomgyu looked straight on the younger's eyes. He is hurting more every time that he saw his friend flirting or kissing another person because of Taehyun. He never wanted Taehyun to feel more pain.

"Why are you asking me that kind of question? I've noticed a long time ago that you are being too protective of him! Do you lo-"

"Is it that hard for you to answer my question?" Beomgyu's angry expression has startled the younger.

"You know how much I adore him, I know everything about him. Of course, I love him" Kai has to make the elder believe in him that's why he looked directly to Beomgyu's eyes.

Beomgyu has thought that Kai is good at convincing, but his answer can't eliminate the suspicion that is lingering on his mind.

"The truth will come out sooner, I can feel it" Beomgyu is full of seriousness at that moment.

"You're creeping me out, stop it hyung. So, we're still friends?" Kai is smiling widely at him.
